Aparthotel Residenz am Schwarzsee

I stayed here with a friend in June 2017 when competing in a triathlon event right next to the property at the Schwarzsee lake. We specifically wanted self-catering and booked the 2 bed apartment which overlooks the lake. When I say "overlooks" it is like having the Schwarzsee as an infinity pool. The property is absolutely beautiful. It is possible to go out of the sitting room onto the jetty and straight into the water. There is even a shower on the jetty. Everything about the accommodation is first rate. Very strong showers, well insulated windows, exceptionally quiet and well equipped. The kitchen has no oven but a microwave, nespresso machine, 2 ring hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. We easily managed to prepare all of our meals using those facilities. There is also a secure garage with roller shutters where we built our bikes. The property was very clean and serviced daily. WiFi is fast enough and reliable without being super quick. For a superb self catering experience which is out of the town centre (but right next to a station and bus stop) I cannot recommend this location highly enough. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful, multi lingual and very relaxed. I strongly recommend this property and would certainly stay there again when visiting the Tirol region.
