Haus Kristall

This was a good location for skiiing in Kirchberg: the pension is fairly central in Kirchberg centre and offers basic accommodation and good hospitality. We let an apartment and a double room for a week- the rooms were clean, with towels and balconies. Breakfast was basic but plentiful, offering hard boiled eggs, cheese and salami, yoghurt, bread, muesli and cake. One unfortunate aspect of the breaskfast experience was that the person in charge of breakfast would smoke in the kitchen area- as non-smokers we found this irritating. This is also a general point about the pension, in that there do not seem to be any non-smoking rooms. Smoke therefore lingers throughout. The accomodation was great value for money- we had a special deal avaiable in early January that included a 6-day ski pass for 299 euro pp. Therefore we would happily recommend this location to anybody requiring good basic accomodation and can put up with the slightly musty atmosphere.
