Appartements Alpenblick

We've just come back from a week's stay in one of these apartments which were absolutely brilliant. We stayed in apt 4 which was spotlessly clean, spacious & very well equipped. The apartments are owned by the Schroll family who live on the ground floor & were always on hand to give friendly advice & tips and make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The appartments are located about halfway between the centre of Kirchberg & the Fleckalmbahn gondola (about 10 minutes walk either way) & the ski bus stop is about 3 minutes walk away. Also about 3 minutes walk away are 2 supermarkets (Spar & Penny). We only used the Spar & it had a good range of fresh fruit/veg/bakery/meat, etc. which was ideal for a self-catering holiday & meant we had the variety of food available to buy if we wanted to eat in (which is nice sometimes after a day's skiing or walking) Kirchberg is a pretty village with a range of restaurants & bars but not the place to go if you want a really lively apres-ski scene (which we didn't). There are a lot of ski runs very close to the village, plus lots of walks (for winter walking these tracks are remade after a snowfall) & cross-country skiing. So plenty to do. All in all a lovely holiday destination for any time of th eyear & we will certainly stay in these apartments again if we came back to the Tirol
