This is a very nice quaint hotel away from it all. The biggest plus of this family-run hotel is the hospitality offered. The staff (owner, daughter and others) is there to make you comfortable and that really works. True to its name the hotel offers a grand view over the Pustertal. Skiing and langlauf are 15 minutes away by car, hikes (and langlauf snow conditions allowing) can be started from the hotel. We took the ‘halb pension’ option which comes with a great breakfast, tee and apfelstrudl or other cakes and a sumptuous 4 course dinner. The wine list features great Austrian wines. The reason why we picked this place was not the view but the fact that they feature a wellness center, with sauna and steam bath. We were not disappointed at all. Wifi is free and comes at great speed. This hotel offers real value for money
