Garni Montana

Had spent a week of snowboarding in Ischgl but as the hotel prices are higher over there, stayed in Garni Montana in Kappl. Was very satisfied with the lodging - very clean and neat, newly refurbished. They have a heated ski room where you can leave your gear to dry, private parking (go for the room on the top floor - you literally go from your room through the ski room to your car). Lots of freebies - coffee and tea with sweets all day at reception, cremes and lotions, had even half day free skipass for Kappl on our first day. Breakfast was nice - nothing fancy - cereals, sandwiches, eggs, etc. but tasty and the staff are always nice and deliver a good service. Relaxation room was awesome, €10 per day or €30 for your stay - includes a lounge where you can relax after the day on slopes and two types of sauna - roman and finnish. The latter has a glass wall facing the mountain which I found pretty cool. Bathrobes and towels are included. Bear in mind that parking is on top of the hill so during snowfall it might be a challenge to get up there on a small car. I had to leave the car once and walk up. But on a plus side you can freeride to your car next morning. Overall, 5/5, would recommend
