Pepis Suites Lechtal Apartments

These apartments are just fabulous. On arrival the owners Pepi and his wife were very welcoming. They are beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, one with en-suite and one with a bathroom next door to the bedroom. Both have showers ( one is over the bath). The other in the en suite is a standalone shower. The whole apartment was immaculate and very clean. The decor is modern and very tasteful. Beds are comfortable with ample wardrobe space. There is even a wardrobe in the lounge which is not obvious that it is a wardrobe and probably used if children are using the pull out bed in the lounge. Hairdryer is provided. Lounge area is very comfortable with coffee table and comfortable seating. There is a large dining area with seating for 6 people which is also very comfortable. The master bedroom has its own balcony. There is also a very large balcony leading from the lounge. Seats are on the balcony and it is lovely to sit out here and can be very warm even in the winter when the sun is shining. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, hob, microwave, extractor, plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, saucepans, kettle and bowls. They also provided us with a filter coffee machine and toaster. We made a lovely curry one evening. You can order fresh bread every day apart from Sunday and this bread is freshly baked each morning. Each day you complete a bread order and bread is delivered to your apartment with the order form. Keep the order forms as these forms are used by the owners to calculate your bill. There is a lift in the building as well as stairs and the stairways are all very clean and modern. At night the apartments are lit up and look amazing. The apartments were well heated and we were never cold. The apartments have a sauna and a lovely sun room. Parking is available. There are a couple of supermarkets in the village. One is very close to the apartments and has the essentials. There is a larger supermarket in the village square. The larger supermarkets can be found in Elbigenalp which is just a 10 to minute drive from Holzgau. There is an ATM in the village square. There are a number of very good restaurants in the village but you do need to reserve a table as they can be very busy. If you are visiting restaurants, cafes or bars remember to take your Covid19 vaccinations proof as well as identity documents. I used my driving licence. They ask for identity and check this against your Covid19 vaccination proof. Overall these apartments are excellent and I highly recommend them. Booking an apartment is easy and the communication from the owners was excellent.
