Front Desk was super helpful, welcoming and provided 5 star customer service. Special credit to Elisabeth at Front desk, cheerful, charming, helpful and attentive, who made my stay a special one. Also special thanks to Alex (or Adam, I'm sorry I forgot the name but he's the team leader at Front Desk) who helped to extend flexibility for me upon check out and ad hoc arranged a meeting room for my last minute Teams meeting request. 
Room was clean with a lovely view, some ants in the bathroom but I respect that's just some sign of nature and not quite related to cleanliness. 
Pool was top class with a lovely view, feel so bad that I only had time to spend a night, otherwise I would stay longer.

the room is specious, walking just across to the next building to the restaurant and the dinner at the restaurant were amazing! great breakfast lot of choices of foods too! quiet place with beautiful lake view and easy access to walking down to the lake! if you need a place to just to wash off your busy mind this is good place for you, the public transformation is not very convenience 

The resort has an amazing view overlooking Lake Grundlsee. Great for relaxing, hiking and as a base to see Hallstatt or Salzburg. The breakfast is great and priced on the high end at $28 Euros. The restaurant patio and deck are great for relaxing with a coffee in the morning or beer in the evening with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. A car is required to get around and they have plentiful free parking. The neighbouring town of Bad Aussee is worth a half day of walking around the rivers and town and stopping in a cafe or restaurant.

It's nice resort helpful staff. We stayed in Studio for a week as part of RCI. We used Mondi as base to travel to Hallstatt and Salzburg. 
Positive: Good Location with Wonderful view of the Lake, Nice walk to surrounding area around the lake.
Negative:- Kitchen Outdated, No Microwave, Lot of renovations ongoing.

Nice Resort with Wonderful View

Unfortunately our time of choosing this restaurant was a disappointment as all the windows were covered in sheeting due to building construction outside.
Nonetheless, the staff were very helpful in changing our seating plans and the meal was satisfactory and interesting with excellent salads. I think I would return you to give them a second chance as they tried so hard to please us

Good meal with potentially good views from the restaurant

Great location but services were very poor! No cleaning at all for a whole week or even change of linen. Only change of towels in the middle of the week. We were changed also for electricity! New years eve dinner was 125euros for adults and 67.5euros for kids (without having a kids buffet) who just had pasta for dinner. Deserts (only one available) were unacceptable for such a price!

After a long research of the hotels with a lake view around Hallstatt I have picked up Mondi resort .
Pros : incredible view spreading out from the restaurant and also rooms facing the lake !
Breakfast is highly recommended and I would count it 8/10
And that is the end of all advantages… the rest are only cons
Cons :
Front desk service is completely inexperienced in all meanings of this word !!! So far during our long travel history I have never experienced such a bad service!!!
It has started from the reservation inquiry’s while they were simply cheating on the price . Finally I have booked by booking.com us they are valued brand .
Upon arrival you will not met anyone such as lobby boy or baggage service!! There is also no baggage trolley that are being used in the hotels - they have only supermarket trolley what was really funny.
Our room number was 131 and it supposed to be on the first floor as also it was told by the receptionist at the front desk- so imagine my family going with two kids and all luggage carrying on by hand trying to find the room on the first floor/ while we noticed that there is no room 131 on the first floor we have started to look for it at the second floor… for our surprise there was also no one 131 room … so after 10 minutes of research and visit at the reception someone else informed us that there is a third floor accessible by stairs without lift…
At the last day of our stay our family has arrived at the hotel - they requested lake view apartment and paid for one like that ! They were also confirmed by the front desk that the view will be at the lake … what a surprise was while we have entered they apartment and look through the window at the car parking …
Another horrible disappointment was due to their spa&welness quality which is truly ugly…
At the swimming pool and dressing room there is such a lot of dirt and stinky smell … that kind of quality was 30 years in the past while swimming pools were something extraordinary but in today’s world it was a total failure
All in all if they would make a spa renovation and management qualification it can be a very good or even excellent resort !
