Just past the Brenner Pass in Austria is a lovely house with a two bedroom apartment and a studio apartment. We had the studio with house barns all around. A sparkling snow- fed stream just out back and a very gracious hostess. We were there in the snow for two days. So beautiful - smoke from the chimneys, little black goats on the mountainside, a wonderful dinner at the nearby Hotel Hummler, mountain peaks in all directions, "Sound of Music" setting. Internet, no English TV, no breakfast. A wonderful, quiet time to remember.
