we were staying in st.gallenkirch and were looking fot some genuine austrian food....thats hard to come by nowadays as the villages are packed with pizza places. we drove eastbound and the last village in the valley had a very pleasant gasthof(hotel & restaurant)..dining on the terrace..the wife, kids & myself enjoyed the good meal and very frienly atmosphere..highly recommended..full plate of real food for pizza prices!! one of those places also visited by the local..enjoying their beers at the end of the day at the "stammtisch".
