Andrea & Johannes Lindenbauer - Pension

We wanted a place where two couples could stay comfortably that would be a good central location for discovering the Lake District of Austria. This was it! The apartment on the top floor included two quaint Austrian bedrooms, two bathrooms and a center room that included a kitchen, table and chairs and a couch, not to mention the balcony that stretched across the whole thing! Unfortunately for us, the landlady had surgery one of the days we were there, so we weren't able to have breakfast at the lodging, but she had arranged for us to have breakfast just down the road at her friend's B&B (Pension) and that worked out just fine. This is a working farm, so there were people around, but never did they get in our way. Actually, the aroma of the "Landluft" was pretty strong, if you know what I mean. :-) The rate for four of us was the best we had for what we got on our whole three-week trip! Very reasonable, especially since we could have even cooked and saved even more. I'm guessing families would love this place! And it was indeed centrally located for discovering the Austrian Lake District (Salzkammergut).
