Brigitte amd Hans are wonderful hosts. They have plenty of tipps for you and are available,helpful with everything and always have an open ear for you. The breakfast is amazing with a huge variation of cereals, bread, juice and good coffee! The rooms are very clean, have satelite TV and the beds are really comfortable. I really enjoyed my time there and can totally recommend it to anybody.

I had a pleasant stay at Harpfner Pension. Beautiful location. The rooms where cleaned everyday by the owners. Delicious breakfast! I would defiantly recommend to my friend and everybody that goes in Finkenberg.

For our first trip to Tyrol, Austria we really didn't know where to go and what to look for. We looked at various options and recommendations by online booking sites. Pension Harpfner had outstanding reviews and very good value for money. We took our chance and were absolutely thrilled! The location of Finkenberg is really convenient, the village is beautiful and the B&B is situated in a nice, quiet street with great views. We totally agree with other reviewers that the owners, Brigitte and Hans, are very friendly and hospitable, giving us all kinds of tips about what to do and what to see (not to mention a very nice greeting on the birthday of one of us :-) We were very pleased with our cozy and clean room and the big private balcony. We totally recommend both Finkenberg and Pension Harpfner for a wonderful summer holiday. There are plenty of opportunities to hike in the mountains and also to take a rest day in the many little villages in Zillertal. PS. If you stay in Finkenberg on a Thursday night please look for the music event given by the locals :-) Thanks, Jon and Sigga, Reykjavik, Iceland.

We have just returned from another lovely Ski trip to Finkenberg Austria. Brigitte and Hans are very welcoming and as mentioned before in our last review the perfect hosts. The accomodation is beautifull, clean and very well upkept. The Breakfast is lovely, cereals, yoghurts, bread rolls, cold meats, fresh fruit salad, boiled eggs, fruit bread, cakes, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee just what you need to set you up for a good days skiing on the great ski areas in Finkenberg/Mayrhoffen Zillertall 3000 area. We find this the perfect family ski holiday. This was our 5th visit and although our chilren are getting older this still ticks all the boxes for us. There is a ski bus that collects you a short distance up the top of the road from the guest house and drops you at the enterance to the ski lifts and can be caught for your return at the end of the ski day. There are ski hire shops in the village we use the Ski Schule Finkenberg Ski Hire which is located opposite the Ski lift in Finkenberg below the Sennhutt'n Appartments. Michael Kroll has always fitted us out well and looked after us with our ski equipment. We to would thoroughly recommend this as the previous review has.

We are a well travelled family from England and have stayed at the pension Harpfner for about 20 years.  We describe the Harpfner to our friends as our Austrian home such is the warm welcome we always receive from Hans and Brigitte.  Our Grandson bursts into his room on return from skiing to check out his reward of a small chocolate treat as recognition of his excellent day's skiing left for him on his pillow by our hosts, these small gestures add such a special touch to our always wonderful visits to Austria.  On our last trip we took new friends and after taking time to get to knoe them Brigitte was quick to recommend a ski area that would suit us best and boy was she correct!  Would strongly recommend x
