Haus Sonne

The lady who runs this place is very jolly and friendly without being nosy. The breakfast was yummy and varied with boiled eggs available every morning. The room was comfortable and cleaned well every day with fresh towels if you wanted them and with a good sized wardrobe for storage. The bus stop is right outside. If you want to walk to the supermarket it is about 10 mins walk in either direction to the Spar at Rosenegg or the Billa and MPreis on the way to the lift station. The bus stops outside the Spar but not the Billa/MPreis. You would have to get off at Fieberbrunn Zentrum for these and walk the rest. None of the 3 supermarkets are open on Sundays. There is a laundrette at the bus stop Zentrum. The lift station is about 25-30 mins walk away from the B&B so doable if you don't take the bus. You can store your boots and skis at S4 Fieberbrunn where there is 24 hour access to the heated lockers and therefore walk back in your shoes, the last bus from the lift station is quite early after skiing so take note. A taxi is €8 from the lift station to Haus in der Sonne. The only downside of this B&B is people talking in the corridor which echoes a lot so you can hear every word in your room and when they congregate in the small room with tables drinking and talking at the end of the corridor then it is very noisy. But that would only apply if there are people staying there that do that.
