We spent 2 weeks doing an Alps tour. We didn't really have any plans in Dornbirn, we just needed a place to crash for the night before heading into Switzerland. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the Sonne1806 Hotel was! We were upgraded to a suite, which was well appointed, and we enjoyed hanging out in the top-floor lounge. The breakfast was better than any other we experienced at a hotel during our trip, with a wide variety of delicious foods. Parking was free and plentiful. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Dornbirn area.
