49 reviewsThis was a really nice hotel where everything just worked. The service was excellent and the facilities very good. The rooms were large and equipped with everying you could need. The food was very good with a great breakfast buffet, afternoon snacks/cake and then a four course evening meal included in the price. One evening was a gala menu and the food quality was excellent. The price were fair. 4.50 euro for a beer and 30 euro for a decent bottle of wine. The staff were very attentive and genuinely very friendly. Facilities wise it had an indoor and outdoor pool which was nice after a days skiing to relax the muscles. The hotel even arranged a taxi pickup from Salzburg as well. If you know the Hochkonig ski area then this is hotel is in Dienten which is smack bang in the middle of the ski circuit. The hotel is a bout 5-10 mins walk from the ski lifts. The hotel also has a wellness area with various steam rooms and other treatments available. Intially I thought the price per person per night was quite high BUT having stayed there I think its fair. You really do get a lot for your money. More than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to ski in Hochkonig.
