Dorfgasthof Adler

I stayed at the Gasthof Adler with two friends during a January skiing holiday for a week. It was hard to fault: comfortable, welcoming, good value-for-money with excellent food. Herr and Frau Gorbach and their team went out of their way to help - the night before we left, for example, I emailed our boarding passes to them for printing, knowing that this might be difficult with our early departure, but the passes were waiting for us on the breakfast table the following morning. The food was exceptionally good value at 14 Euros per person per night for a high quality, well-presented four course meal, and there was an interesting wine list centred on excellent locally-produced wines. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and warm, with nice balcony views out to the village. It's very centrally located, with both the ski bus stop and tourist information opposite, and a short walk to the ski hire shop, the local Spar shop and a small selection of bars and restaurants. The wifi worked brilliantly throughout. All in all, a great experience, and somewhere I would strongly recommend.
