Gasthof Staud'nwirt

We were staying nearby and the restaurant had been recommended to us, as it was within walking distance from our guest house. The dining room is warm and typical Austrian decor of wood, wood and wood. The staff was very helpful, they have a menu in English (important when one does not speak nor read Austrian). We selected the char in garlic crust and the veal schnitzel. Both were cooked properly but the char (also known as Brooke trout) was very tasty. The wine list is limited however we found it was often the case in many restaurants we ate in Austria. The restaurant is managed by mum and her two daughters, one in the kitchen and one on the floor. All were friendly and accommodating, the service was fast but not hurried and We had a lovely dinner.
