We traveled as a family of 4 and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The apartment we stayed in had a room for the parents and a room with 2 separate beds for the kids. The living room and kitchen were well-appointed and the views from the 2 balconies could not be beat. We had planned to be closer to Garmisch but fell in love with the Tannheim Valley. We will be back.
