We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at the Brunner hotel. Using the hotel as a ‘base camp’, every morning we went on different hiking trips in the Kaiserwinkl area. In the afternoon we would return and enjoy the fantastic spa area of the hotel. The spa area, with saunas, a great pool, etc., is located on the top floor, overlooking the lake and the mountains. Just beautiful. Our spacious room also faced the lake (and the road). What else deserves mention? The food! We had booked half-board and honestly looked forward to every meal. The breakfast buffet offers everything one needs for a good start to the day. The dinners were simply amazing. The quality of the ingredients and the delicate preparation of each menu was impressive. Try the ‘Lakeside’ wine which nicely round-off the meals. The allround service was great, too.
