78 reviewsA wonderful place to get away from city life (from eg Vienna) and enjoy a quiet weekend in the mountains. This hotel stands alone, isolated in a quiet area, the only connection is via train and that's very convenient. No need for car (although we brought one this time). It has a nice spa area, indoor pool and outdoor pool, outdoor tennis court, and lots of hiking possibilities. The house itself is a rustic wooden building, very original and cute, and the rooms are mostly renovated (we had a room all white decorated). Make sure to take a room with the view on the Oetscher (mountain)!! Breakfast is good although they could add a few more sweet choices. Dinner is either half board (with 4 courses) or a la carte. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wifi is a bit spotty but after all it is the perfect place to get away from it all, disconnect and relax!!
