Excellent value for the independent traveler. A tiny atmospheric pension run by a local lady in the heart of the city, right by the main shopping street and within walking distance to many museum. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms, others don't (my did). Simple, but very well taken care of. Free WiFi works well and the TV is small but flatscreen and offers many channels. Impeccably clean. Heating was also very good, which is not a given in budget hotels in Europe. The building has a narrow elevator (won't work for someone in a wheelchair, but good enough for my bags). I'd come back any time.
