Pension Bergkristall

Wow. What a great little hotel. We booked this hotel last minute via booking.com. We'd booked multiple rooms, however upon arriving realised we only needed one larger room/apartment. The owners were super accommodating and made this happen. The hotel (which is more like a lodge) is well located, just above the main square in Heiligenblut (which itself is a fantastic little village). There are half a dozen (free) carspaces right outside the hotel. The rooms all feel new and are well appointed. We only stayed one night and didn't experience breakfast (which some locals told us was really good). The hosts were really friendly, spoke perfect english and very accommodating. I'd certainly recommend staying here and we hope to return in winter for some skiing.
