Incredible views as you approach the Gasthaus — and once in our room with a balcony. You look directly at the Dachstein glaciers and turquoise blue-green lake, with beautiful hikes around and up over the lake. Room was cheery and bright and pristinely clean. Breakfast buffet selection was good with everything fresh and replenished, and dinner was delicious with fresh pike and perch on the menu. Stayed here four nights and could have stayed much longer. Perfect location and nice service. Staff even directed us to a medical clinic a few towns away for Lyme disease picked up elsewhere in Austria. We appreciated all their help and service.
