Hotel Ennstalerhof

This is a family run hotel and on arrival you are really made welcome by the owners. The hotel is in a great location with rooms that give you a lovely view of the surrounding area and you have direct access to the cross-country skiing trails. There is also bus stop a few minures walk from the hotel that takes you into the Ramsau or to the Dachstein cable car. We booked a junior suite which was traditionally furnished and had a large balcony which offered a fantastic view of the Dachstein. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom with shower and toilet extra also lots of cupboard space. The spa area is on the smaller side but the hotel isn’t that large and it offers luxury comfort in the relaxing areas. There is also a heated infinity pool which you can’t resist especially when it’s snowing. Bathrobe and slippers are also provided. The food is excellent. Everything is top quality and you have plenty of choice. You will never go hungry in this hotel. The breakfast buffet offered everything you could think of in cold cuts, cheeses, smoked salmon, spreads, and various egg dishes which were made fresh on request. The evening meal was 4 course, partially buffet and table service. For the main course you had a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian meals and we often didn’t know what to choose as they were always so varied. Desserts were out of this world and I could never say no. They also offer lots of good wine at reasonable prices. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile. Free parking is available, so what more could you wish for. I can certainly recommend this hotel and look forward to going again next year.
