We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alte Post during a hiking trip. Our room was large, well-furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. The hotel has a very large spa that is free for guests. In particular the owner, Herr Knapp, was very helpful in advising us about our hike for the next day, and very generously lent us gaiters to help us deal with some unexpected snow.
