Haus Sonnseite

Haus Sonnseite is located in the centre of the Rehmen village, close to local church. The village itself is in a superb location between majestic mountains. We were four adults and spent a week there. Admittedly we had a great weather which helps but our overall impression was excellent. We had two rooms, each with main room, bathroom w toilet and balcony (balcony is shared with two other rooms but there are blinds which you can pull down to get private space). The breakfast was included in the package as well as daily maid service. Rooms were facing south with a lovely view on to the opposite mountains. The house and rooms were kept clean, breakfast was very good (continental). Every day you get a small leaflet with the weather forecast, trip and activities suggestions helping you to decide what to do should you not have clear plan already. As in other places in Austria, if you stay longer than three nights, you get a free card with making you eligible for various free services and discounts. In the case of the Haus Sonnseite it is the Bregenzerwalder card. We used free free access to the Bergbahnen (lifts) which bring you up to the mountains. I forgot to mention very kind Frau Muxel who was looking after us, preparing breakfast and helping us with all sort of information. We loved it there and would be happy to come back again.
