We took a 5 day break in Austria and decided to stay in the Gasthof St. Hubertus. We chose Pertisau because we wanted to walk rather than ski, and this area seems to cater for walkers in the winter. The Gasthof was fabulous in every sense. Location, owners & staff, food, rooms etc... Achensee was easy to reach. We flew to Innsbruck and took a bus to the main railway station. Bus F stops directly outside the main airport entrance and takes approximately 15 minutes to the railway station. (Cost 3.10 euro per person). From Innsbruck you need to take a train to Jenbach railway station (8.80 euro per person). You can then take a local bus to Pertisua / Maurach etc and if you show your hotel reservation you travel free. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel.
