Clean, comfy and convenient. Attached to a pub where I enjoyed a tasty meal.

What a great find, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. Didn't get to try the pool but the beds were super comfy and food at the hotel next door was  awesome. Only gripe was that it was hard to fill a drink bottle in the bathroom sink, have to use a small cup.

It was a beautiful place to stay, super clean great beds, swimming pool for kids, hotel restaurant serves good food.

Fantastic place to stay, made even better by the hospitality of Lynn.

What a gem! Family means we sometimes drive from the Sunshine Coast down to Melbourne and have just discovered this quiet little place for our second overnight road trip stay .
We stayed overnight. Room was large, bed comfortable and amenities great.
And how good after a long days drive to be able to walk 30 metres from our room to this to this beautiful country pub for a few cold ones and amazing tucker. 
It’s definitely on our “ stop” list for future trips down.

This is the epitome of motels - easy parking, quiet,  no stairs (a few steps,) 50 metres to the bar and a decent counter meal, clean and unfussy and great value for money.  Located half way between Melbourne and Canberra/Sydney - it’s an ideal stopping point.  The recent refurbishment was certainly due but the outcome is excellent.  It offers a comfortable bed, hot showers with great water pressure, quiet and inexpensive.  The pub meals are excellent.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious in a quiet environment. We will stay again when we are next travelling through this area. We highly recommend this hotel/motel. We took the opportunity to walk around the area. Our impression is that this is a safe place to stay overnight.

Friendly Hotel and Pub, run by Genuine country Aussies, just off the highway and a perfect place to spend the night coming north out of Victoria, or going the other way.  Room was quiet, warm, and very clean.  The bed was super comfortable.  this was the best stopover on our travels and also the most economical.  The pub food was really good, and again great value.  This is just the kind of stopover you want when tired after a long day on the road.  TV reception for free to air is SBS only, so bear that in mind if there is anything you really have to watch, but the smart TV would presumably allow you to log in to netflix or ABC iview if you travel with your account login.  We are often looking to stop around Holbrook, or somewhere between Albury and Golburne, so this will be our new favourite, if only for the cleanliness and very comfortable bed.

Great, reasonably priced Motel to stay at on the Sydney to Melbourne drive. Not far off the highway and no traffic noise. My room was very clean, lovely comfy bed and really nice sheets. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My meal at the pub was very nice, well presented and value for money. A lovely fireplace warmed the dining room.

Great motel with good food.

The Woomagarma Hotel is a very comfortable, well managed stay over on the Hume. Rooms appear to have been refreshed recently and have a comfortable, clean and cosy feeling. The hotel food is very good and the staff friendly and accomodating. Village is very small, so there's no breakfast option - but Holbrook is just a few minutes away.

We live in Albury/Wodonga and were looking for somewhere to eat lunch within a short drive. 
This pub didn’t disappoint! The food was excellent (we had mains and desserts) and the price was reasonable. Will definitely drive out there again for lunch! It’s very close to the freeway too, which makes it a great spot for those just passing by and needing a little break

Amazing lunch in the sun

Very comfortable beds and clean room.   A toaster and kettle were provided and a sparkling blue pool was a welcome sight after a hot day of travelling.  The adjacent hotel provided good food and perhaps the best feature was that it was located off the main highway, so there were no passing trucks.  Recommended for a stopover or as a base for a few days of walking in the nearby National Park.

Clean and comfortable

Excellent overnight stop. Clean recently renovated bedrooms, with comfy beds and tasteful decor. New carpets and plenty of powerpoints for charging a car load of devices. Effective aircon and well stocked cups cutlery etc with microwave toaster and kettle to get going in the morning. Clean somewhat new bathroom with lots of hotwater in large shower. Friendly bar staff helped me check-in late. Very happy with our stay and good value for money.

Recommended halfway house, Mel - Syd 

Been trying to get accommodation here for a while and was not disappointed. Rooms are old but beautifully refurbished, bathrooms still to go but all spotless and roomy. Was looking forward to a meal in the pub but it was not open on the Tuesday night we stayed, however lasagne, tacos  chips and salad available for the locals and travellers for $10 was delicious. Best of all we met Wendy who used to manage the Holbrook hotel about three years ago and it really was the highlight if the night. Looking forward to getting back there again in 2023 and exploring more of the beautiful region
