After unexpectedly being locked out of Townsville due to COVID, we found ourselves scrambling to find accommodation for 9 people, and came across Pete's place...what a find! Pete was brilliant from the word go, answering all our txt messages promptly, and happily accommodating all our needs. He greeted us on our arrival and couldn't have been more helpful - terrific fellow! The house was fantastic - airy, bright, modern, spotlessly clean, with a huge deck and verandahs off all 4 bedrooms, all with THE BEST VIEWS! The perfect place to relax and enjoy the ever-changing moods of the ocean, its islands, and the surrounding hills. Ensuite and air-conditioning in each of the bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen - the only recommendation would be larger/more couches (only seating for 4) but there were plenty of dining chairs, outdoor seating and kitchen stools to sit on! Cannonvale and Airlie Beach are both within a short drive (or walk if you're keen!), but the position of the house itself has you well out of the hustle and bustle, in peaceful surroundings. Would absolutely recommend staying here!
