This motel is owned by a young couple who are doing a great job.
They are on the property 24/7 and go out of there way to be helpful and make you feel welcome.

The front rooms can be a little noisy with road traffic.

They are close and walking to a great pub for excellent meals, and walking distance to a wide  of shops in 2 centers.
Give them a go as they are trying really hard and deserve support.

I had an issue with taxis and they helped me out, very thoughtful and kind

Clean, airy rooms , with great amenities, fuel across the road, the tavern with good options across the road. Smooth check-in with heaps of parking , attached restaurant and swimming pool in the complex

Extremely competitively priced and thanks fully out off the main city, so its peacefully

Well.priced, great parking  , good amenities and great views, and clean , you cannot ask for more , so i will make this myvregilular stop

Motel is in a convenient location.  All facilities were very clean and well presented.  Staff were very friendly and obliging. As i was travelling with family adjacent rooms were provided. There were no problems with room servicing. The undercover parking outside my room was appreciated when it was storming.  It was the perfect venue for our family.

Beds were nice and comfortable, room was nice and spacious and bathroom too, shower had good water pressure. Decent tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, etc and friendly lady at reception. Overall a very good motel for a very good price.

Pleasantly surprised by this property for the price. Spacious room with all the facilities needed. Had the best bed I ever slept in and the shower was exceptioinal. The unit was very clean. Walk to hotel for meals was also very convenient. Highly recommend this motel

Stayed with my family for a primary school 125 year celebration for 2 nights.

Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

When we arrived the reception was dark and the person behind the desk appeared to be sitting in the dark for some reason.but he processes our booking quickly and efficiently and we were off to our rooms.

The lawn was overgrown across the entire grounds which made the place look untidy, but everything was well cleaned inside.

The aircon in my room “112” was not very effective, but I was able to move my bed underneath it which made it acceptable. It was quite warm both days so without moving the bed the room would have been very hot.

The strength of the shower head was awesome and the temperature made showering a pleasure.

It is sad to see that the restaurant is gone as it used to be one of the best in Gladstone.

We went to check in but no one there, which if i had checked my phone i would have read were the key was, but when i knocked on the door the Lady came which saved us having a first floor room and we got a ground floor family room instead which was a good size, we really only slept here as we were out most of the time, if we are back in Gladstone I would stay here again.

Very Good Budget Motel

Stayed here for 7 nights over Christmas. Good location, close to shops and hotels. Advertised as serviced rooms but in 7 days, not once was our bed made. Most days, staff would come to the door and ask, do you need tea, coffee or take your rubbish for you. A vacuum, bathroom clean, bed making, maybe clean sheets after a few days would have been nice. Obviously, this what they class as serviced rooms. Have stayed in cheaper accomodation in Gladstone and servicing and breakfast were included. More staff would improve this establishment.

Good location, nice staff but lacking service.

The person at reception was more interested in what was happen on his phone then the check-in process. Just handed over the key, no direction on where the room was.  While my room was clean it felt like a cave. Lighting was completely inadequate, the main light seem to be running on the smallest wattage bulb available.   Traffic noise was a constant.
Overall it was not a dreadful experience, but I’d look for an alternative motel next time. 


 Disappointing 

Smoke alarm not connected, no soap in room. All light fittings connected to power points with leads. Office only manned 4 hrs a day 1400-1800. Ran out of toilet paper. No spare rolls and office closed when leaving and returning. Easier to BYO. Shower took at least 10 minutes to just get warm. Have stayed here before and was great. Will not return
