We enjoyed a very goo dinner at the hotel with our family.  The dining room wasn't crowded, our food was very nice and staff helpful and pleasant. Although it wasn't busy the night we were there, booking would be a good idea, especially in holiday periods.  We stayed in a nearby town and the Fish Creek Hotel was just a short, pleasant drive away

Had lunch with friends at fishy pub. Tried the panko crumbed port loin with tonkatsu sauce. I love it when I go out for a meal and get something different that I wouldn’t have at home and it’s delicious.  Top marks for this recipe. Yum. Thank you fishy pub!!

Stopped at this pub on our way thru.  Great greeting and shown to the bar by a lovely man.  He explained the beers and then told us the history of the pub and the town. We had a very nice visit and would recommend calling in if you are in Fish Creed Victoria.

Could not have been happier with my recent quick lunch at this iconic hotel. The young staff were friendly and efficient, and the lunchtime buzz was palpable. The Mexican Chicken entrée was truly delicious  - tender chicken pieces with a crunchy, spicy coating, served on a bed of tasty coleslaw. With a very generous serving of garlic bread ... easily enough for two, but I very happily managed it all by myself ... an Aperol Spritz and a Waratah Bay Ice Cream (The 'Sandy Point' - salted vanilla with salted caramel chunks) ... I went away one very happy customer.

Stayed here on Monday night and the staff and service excellent.. Easy check in, comfy rooms and a great meal.. Stesks cooked to your liking, quickly presented to your table and an interesting selection of local wines. This is an oasis and I like it, thanks again! 

We stopped for lunch in the beer garden yesterday - with our border collie (dogs welcome !!). Vegan daughter had a "Frankie" (A wrap with spiced potato and cauliflower) and I had the seniors flathead - both excellent meals and the service was very friendly. We were there last May and ate inside and that was a great meal too - I really like this pub - not the cheapest but very nicely set up, great food,  and lovely people.

We were going to do the Wilson's Prom Boat Cruise and thought we'd stay here as we had been past and through Fish Creek a number of times but didn't have time to stop.  Great accommodation and  lovely meal.  Staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu was great - lots of choices.  The dining room was very busy and the food was great pub food and lots of it.  So glad that we finally got the chance and opportunity to stay and eat here - would thoroughly recommend it.

First time visiting this hotel and we had a great experience. Really warm, friendly staff and wonderful food made this very enjoyable and would happily dine here again. Beautiful little town to visit in a nice part of South Gippsland. 

After staying in dorm room hostels for a while, I was very happy to have a very comfy double bed to myself. The staff were also very friendly and I found my meal in the restaurant very prompt and tasty. I would stay here again.

Had lunch here on the weekend and was greeted by nice and friendly staff.
We ordered the senior Prawn and Mussel pastas which was delicious. We also ordered the salad at $6 which was large. We really enjoyed the lunch. The only down side was the price of drinks, wine was too expensive otherwise this place would be a 5 star rating.

Comfy Accommodation at Fish Creek

We accidentally booked a room with shared toilet. It's the cheapest in the area when we booked it. The room was basic, with bed, mirror, rack and a lamp. Staff was friendly. The beddings were clean enough. Had a decent sleep.

 A bit dusty. Female toilet was far from Room B. Male toilet was closer. My fault because I didn't realise it's a room with shared toilet, otherwise I would have booked differently. So make sure you check this.

Basic accommodation

Stayed in a budget twin room on a Monday.  It's a beautiful hotel with a cute and basic room with clean and modern shared bathroom.  Comfortable bed.  Budget room was advertised as non air-conditioned which would have been fine had there been fly screens on the window.  The fan helped but it wasa mosquito swatting night.
