The motel is exceptionally clean, spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the location is very quiet. Highly recommended!

A spacious room with everything we needed, very clean and well maintained. The kids loved the pool.

We stayed here as a family with small children as an overnight stop on our travels. We had a family/spa room. We were very impressed by how clean the room was. The check-in/out process was easy and we had little contact with staff or others during our brief stay. The property was easy to find and had parking provided. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in the area.

We thought the Tucker Box was excellent.   It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, close enough to the town and the motor way but not too close.   Perfect for us and we will stay on another occasion.

I had a car and a trailer. The Tuckerbox motel has a huge secure parking area which I needed.The rooms are very clean and well appointed, check in was fast

Wonderful customer service, room was spectacularly clean, comfortable beds and amenities were very good 
Arrived late in the evening after hours and the manager was very accommodating and helpful 
They Had the heating on for our arrival so room was lovely and warm as it was 1 degree outside

Business stop over

Excellent room and at a good price. It was great to have a spa in the bathroom and to be able to relax after a long day of driving. Large room, clean and great facilities. Parking at the door. Short drive in to town to hotels/restaurant for meals. The only complaints were that the wi-fi was very patchy, dropping in and out and the curtains were badly hung.

I was a solo traveler, so was amazed at how big the space was, the room / bathroom was massive!!The room was clean, check in was easy and the motel is not far from town.If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs as you can just hear the trucks from the highway.My only concern was on the night I stayed, the wifi was very patchy at times.Otherwise, comfortable bed, clean room and not far either from the lookout over Gundagai - which is especially beautiful if you can get there when the sun is setting!!!

I struggle to sleep well in any place other than my own bed and my home at a temperature that I find comfortable. However, the aircon was set at a temperature that ensured a comfortable night re warmth. The bed was fairly comfortable, though I did struggle a little with the pillows. One pillow seemed not enough but two was too large. That was a minor issue and certainly not a show stopper. The room was larger than I expected with a bright and airy feel to it. The surrounding area was quiet, even though it's not far from the highway, and there was no noise from any of the other hotel guess. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

The Tuckerbox Motel was pristine,  clean, well equipped and the bed was luxuriously comfortable. The site was quiet and peaceful. The reception staff were warm,welcoming  and extremely helpful. Service standard was high and beyond expectations.  Many thanks for phoning the local hotel and even organising a courtesy bus for us.It was a lovely experience which i would be very happy to have again. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great. Friendly. Comfortable. Clean accommodation in this area.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly by the owner.The room was exactly as we had seen in the pictures.Clean...fresh with everything you could need.It was exactly what we needed after a 5 hr drive.Close to dining facilities and close to the Gundagai town centre and only 10kms from the historical tucker box.We will definitely be back.

A great place to stay. Very welcoming and check-in was quick and easy. Upon check-in we were given information about our meal options. Really convenient position for highway access, fuel and fast food. Cleanliness is obviously a priority, grounds and amenities like the pool and bbq area were great. Beds were super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when doing the Melbourne-Sydney route. Perfect!

Fabulous property

I had to ensure the room size was large enough for my mobility scooter and there was ample space.
The bathroom was also big enough and I was safely and comfortably able to shower too.
Very clean everywhere and I want to commend you in the comfort of the bed, pillows and cotton! Sheets

Perfect If you have special accommodation needs. 

Easy to get to off the highway.
Clean, well provisioned room with soap, hair shampoo and conditioner.
Very large room for one double bed. Nicely fitted out.
Extensive range of commercial TV channels. 
No dishwasher, and interesting note asking guests to thoroughly wash cutlery and crockery as means of keeping down cleaning costs. OK.
Would certainly make this a regular stop-over on trips to and from Sydney.
