So handy to find right on main Hwy, One of Tenterfields best kept secrets this place is the best Motel we have  ever stayed at. Will be back again.

The cabin was large and had all necessary requirements, its was clean and convenient, staff were friendly.

Loved that there was a separate small kitchen & dining area in our room & also a larger ‘camp’ kitchen with BBQs. Comfy beds & great sized ‘accessible’ shower. Would definitely stay here again

This is the second time we have stayed here. That just about sums it up. The property consists of rooms and cabins. We choose the cabins. They are spacious, clean and have everything you need. Try to stay away from the main highway end; maybe a request? Free coffee and tea is available in the breakfast area adjacent to Reception and the room is usually unlocked. That is a nice extra touch. Staff are friendly, competent and helpful. Would stay there again. The golf club about 1km away serves excellent evening meals.

Stayed one night in a very pleasant cabin. Greeting was friendly and smooth check in. Free coffee available in communal area. Cabin was spotless and quite large with separate kitchen. Although close to main road and having road contractors as guests the area was quiet and road noise minimal. Golf Club about 1km away does great evening meals and very friendly. Great stay, no complaints.

All You Need for Tenterfield Stay

This is a little out of town, but really great. Very quiet. Spacious motel style room, with large bed, plus a single bed. Sofa, in the corner. Kitchen through sliding door, this area was a verandah previously. Great idea to enclose and have a bigger kitchen with table & chairs. Good sized fridge. Wanted to change the furniture placement, to make it work better. Didn't like the crockery cupboard, made it squishy. Plenty of room in the cupboards under the sink. There was a water purifier, which took up a lot of space, tap water was fine. In the lounge part, we moved the sofa, so watching TV was a little better. Removing the single bed and having a sofa bed there, would be much better. TV is too high on the wall, would be easy to change, as there was a huge mirror  on the wall, which was totally unnecessary. Would come back.

First vist to Tenterfield

We stayed here for one night in a two bedroom apartment. It was lovely and spacious. My only gripe, and it’s a small one, was the bathroom is for wheelchairs so a shower curtain to keep toilet and everything dry. This doesn’t happen if you have boys (husband and 17 yr old). Otherwise lovely and looks newly renovated.

Stayed many times and always enjoyed the big, well appointed and reasonably priced rooms and great location for Tenterfield Golf Course or shopping and exploring Tenterfield. New owners have taken it to another level with room looking brand new they’re so clean and well maintained, and whole complex looking loved. We will be back

Generous rooms and hosts

Travelling for work constantly I stay in many hotels but the Golfers Inn is a no brainer in Tenterfield. Always an excellent room and wonderful service. Cabins are roomy and cosy with every essential you need in the kitchenette, the family room I stayed in is bigger than the cottage I rented for a year! Everything is always pristinely clean. It’s a yes from me, every time.

ALWAYS EXCELLENT

I stayed 3 nights at Golfers inn .Stayed in the older section which was very comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. A kitchenette which had microwave, fridge, crockery cutlery etc The room was very clean in all areas. Heater was great as was the electric blanket. Plenty of hot water in the shower. I didn't hear any highway noise. Thank you Tegan the owner who made my stay very comfortable. 10/10 Tegan for your very friendly welcoming manner. If I need to stay in Tenterfield again Golfers Inn will be my choice.

Clean comfy place to stay

We stayed in the old section which was a bit dated but very clean and well supplied. Little kitchenette, hot plates and cooking utensils provided. Paper towels, tissues provided. Filtered water in room and a free real coffee machine in restaurant.
Our room had a queen bed and 2 singles so room for a family. Only 2 of us so able to spread out our bags etc! Nice place would stay again.
