We visited as a group to explore the surrounding cycling trails over a couple of weeks. Annick & Nick are simply awesome hosts, they really took care of us, showed us around and even led us on a few rides in the highlands. The rooms are spotless and tastefully appointed, the kitchens have every utensil you could think of, even things like cling wrap etc, all we had to buy was groceries. The laundry, bbq and pool amenities are fastidiously maintained.

The apartments are top notch, spotless with heaps of space and have everything you need. With great views across to Mt Bogong who would want to go out to eat.  We even had the bonus of an early snow fall on the mountains.

This is my second time here and once again our amazing hosts really looked after us and made sure we had an exceptional time.  Nick provided us with tons of information on where to ride and what to do and even came out to show us some extra special Mountain Bike rides. 

We enjoyed the place so much and had so many MTB ride options we extended out say from a week to nine nights. Love staying at Alpehhorn.

Perfectly clean, nearly new appliances, new window and door, great heating.
I loved the mountain view from the balcony and the fact that we had everything we needed , everywhere: from cutlery, pots, blankets, heating to entertaining.
Good and quiet location

This is a wonderful place to come with your mates and cycle around the local mountains. 

Hosts are great and location is perfect.

It's also only 30km from Falls Creek if you want to ski in winter or hike or bike the trails in summer.

My partner and I have just spent 4 days at Alpenhorn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cozy self contained unit had a great rustic feel and are kept spotlessly clean, with the best view in the valley. Great valley for money and affordable. Cooled off in the pool after a hot day out hiking. Will be back for sure!

So refreshing to spend time in a large sized holiday unit at an affordable price and run by super friendly people only 2 mins from town. The unit was clean and warm with way too many appliances etc to mention. Owner/managers Nick and Annick went out their way to help us find our way to the best riding and walking trails, swimming spots and food. They are a wealth of knowledge for the region and truly love the Mt Beauty lifestyle. The views from the balconies are spectacular with Mt Bogong front and centre. 
Without doubt, we’ll be back!

We looked for accommodation in Tawonga South as my husband visited the area regularly as a child.  My search came up with this place and we were not disappointed.  Friendly welcoming owners, clean and tidy apartment with a very comfortable bed.  Good location and very quiet.  We were a little concerned there was no air-con given the time of year but the freestanding fans did a great job keeping us cool.  The apartments are located close to Mt Beauty and only short drives to Beechworth and Bright.  We visited Falls Creek as well and dined very well in the local restaurants.  Highly recommend.

We are a family of 5 and this accomodation is perfect for us. Spacious living space and kitchen. Clean rooms and good wide parking spaces. Mt. Beauty is a spot to stay in when you visit Falls Creek for skiing holiday. We decided to stay in this town as it is only 30 kilometres away to Falls Creek. You can do a lot of side sightseeing on your way back from the snow just like we did. We stopped at Bogong and went on a short hike to the waterfalls. 
Amazing experience for all of us!
