Friendly staff at check in.Enjoyed great meal at restaurant  great staff too

Very clean, comfy bed. Great location just out of Tamworth. Easy check in with the option of the keys being available out of hours. Papa Luigi restaurant is located on site and the food is amazing and very friendly service. Will definitely stay there again on our way through Tamworth.

Stockman's Motel is conveniently located just out of Tamworth so it has a beautiful rural outlook and is far enough from the highway to be peaceful and quiet. The management is very welcoming.

So comfortable enjoyed the spa bath and the bed was so comfortable

Everything was perfect about the stay even arriving after office hours and our key been in the little lock box at the room door. Will be definitely going back to stay in room 5 King Deluxe with Spa bath. 😃

The bed was very comfortable, the big tv amazing 😻 all up a very pleasant stay.👍

Room met requirements and quality for price was acceptable. My key issue was that the front door was a sliding glass door with verticals blinds that were not fully functional so I did not feel secure and on this occasion was travelling alone. If I stayed again and was on my own, I’d ask for a different room closer to main facilities.

Stockmans better than stock standard.

Our 2night stay was great, however we recieved a queen bed and a single bed instead of the 2 x queen beds that was requested at booking. There was no handsoap in the bathroom at all, even after they serviced the room. But overall the beds were comfy, the shower was excellent and the huge tv was wonderful. Very peaceful oleasant stay.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Super easy check in .Maybe pushed our luck trying to get in early as there was hair in the bathroom and bathroom dispensers were empty. It was alot smaller then appeared in pictures but we didn't mind as the bed was comfy and we were happy enough with neat and simple. Only in town for a night, we enjoyed our stay.

The Stockman's Motel Tamworth offers a great 'out-of-town' option for those looking for courteous staff and a lovely nights rest. Our room was clean and tidy with all room appointments in excellent working order.There was plenty of room around the motel grounds to accommodate larger passenger vehicle parking areas which was valued on our long journey.The Stockman's also offered many other features that we were unfortunately unable to enjoy due to our schedule. But the pool area and restaurant certainly looked appealing and we would be keen to enjoy during our next visit.Certainly deserves a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Located on the way into Tamworth from Sydney.  All units are ground level, plenty of parking and the spaces are large.  Room is light and bright; large tv, settee, table and 2 chairs, king bed.  Sitting area on back patio.  Carmen’s restaurant was great!  We had the 3 courses for $48/person menu and it was excellent.  This is a lovely motel for our overnight stop.

Terrific Tamworth

Stayed with my family during the Tamworth field hockey tournament. The location is out of the main business district of Tamworth but is not that far away from anything. We personally preferred the location than being in the town itself. 
The motel is clean, well maintained and comfortable. Smallish shower which did leak a bit but otherwise was fine.
One minor hiccup but the staff are responsive, accommodating and friendly. 
The associated restaurant whilst very nice is not cheap (food and coffee is not cheap anywhere in Tamworth), worth a dinner and desert.
No complaints and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Accommodating

We could not fault our stay here. The room was light, bright and spotless. Room service for breakfast was delicious. Carmen's restaurant, what can I say, great menu, delicious food, waiting staff so friendly. Our total experience was fabulous. Such a quiet and serene setting.  All motel staff made us feel welcome, constant smiles and super helpful. Management have definetely choosen the correct staff here, they make the place what it is. I would  highly recommend the Stockmans to any traveller. Definitely a ten out of ten from us. Can't wait for a revisit

Fielding

The location is great, lots of landscape views, very quiet and on sunset it’s totally beautiful. The room was very clean, spacious, there was a back door on as well where there was a huge wrap around verandah and little tables and chairs. I had requested dairy free milk for coffee and a generous amount was supplied. Staff were friendly. Felt safe and secure. We ordered breakfast which was nice and good value, though the coffee was too strong and we could not drink it. 

There were a few little critical points: not enough towels, one per person, though you could request more I would imagine, not enough drawer space for your clothes, but there was a good sized wardrobe, the left side of the bed was blocking the PowerPoint so you could not plug in the bed side table lamp and the bed was very firm so we both did not get a good night sleep both nights. It would have been nice to have another brand of complimentary coffee instead of Nescafé as well. 

On our day of checking out we were phoned up by Reception to see if we were still at the motel which I found unusual, since checkout was at 10am and it was not even that time yet.

The visit was great, wonderful service and very obliging 

The room was just right, everything you needed and all the staff were very very helpful.The room was very clean, tidy and everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Breakfast was great, a lovely menu and very enjoyable.

Great experience

The management here should be commended on doing a fabulous job keeping a clean, modern and value for money service. I don’t often write hotel reviews, however I couldn’t help myself. We stayed with 2 small children in room 16. There was so much room for us all, the kids could safely play on the grass outside, the kitchenette was perfect, the kids loved the playground, the room service from Carmens was AMAZING…. Gosh the list goes on. 
The distance into town wasn’t an issue at all. In fact for us travelling from Newcastle and back, the location worked to our advantage.
We’ll done to the owners and staff at Stockmans/Carmens, you’ve created a business we can’t wait to visit again.  
Oh I almost forgot… the gelato is easily the BEST I have had in all my travelS!
