Haven’t stayed here for quite a few years, but absolutely love it here!It’s quiet, private and just beautiful to get away from it all.Breakfast provisions were wonderful and the kitchen is well supplied.Thank you for having us! Will be coming back.

Easy checkin, geeat stay all round, highly recommend

The cottage suited our needs perfectly, plenty of room for two couples and kids, fully equipped kitchen, laundry & bathrooms.

check in was easy and the property was excellent with all the amenities Easy parking & great breakfast.

We stayed at Observatory Cottages for our wedding accommodation and was impressed from arrival.East close access to shops, clean and secluded and perfect amenities for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Milk, bread and water/juices provided unexpectingly which was a bonus so breakfast and snacks sorted. Keep up the great effort !!

I was impressed with the friendly point of contact and professionalism exhibited.Extremely clean cottage with old world charm. The native bird life was a bonus! Most enjoyable stay and looking forward to staying again. 😊

We stayed 1 night and the suite was brilliant. Clean and tidy with little unexpected touches like all the stuff for breakfast in the fridge and waiting. The late checkout was great and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for a great night away :)

Lovely relaxing property, well stocked with supplies. Garden needed some weeding. An additional bench in the bathroom would have been handy and perhaps a wide vision mirror at the entrance would also improve safety, not that we had any issues - just feedback.

We stayed at Candlewick Cottage for a weekend getaway. It was well appointed, very clean and cosy with everything we needed. Breakfast was stocked up with eggs, beacon, cereals, jam and tea/coffee. Linen was fresh and crisp and bathrooms clean, neat and tidy with fresh towels and bath/shower amenities.

Cosy weekend escape

Nice , clean and cosy cottage to stay at. The great surprise about our stay here was the birds that came to our balcony in the mornings. There is a bottle of feed provided and when we started feeding the birds, more came☺️ It was a great experience - having coffee amidst greenery and with birds just next to you. 
Fridge was stocked with lots of food and drinks. 
Kitchenette was adequate to do all the cooking that we wanted . 
It was an awesome experience staying here.

Lovely cosy cottage

The cottage was a perfect getaway for the weekend. We booked it for my wife's birthday and couldn't have been more happier to book such an awesome place. The ambience,  the furniture and fittings and my wife loved the spa. We will defintely be coming back for more. All the great restaurants are littearly with 10 mins drive. Waking up within the clouds was just the icing on the proverbial cake. 

Birthday Getaway 

Hubby & I stayed here as our friends were getting married at sky high(2min walk up the road) 
The owl cottage was so perfect! 
We loved it here . So many small special things in the room that made it perfect! The fire place ! The tv which rotates to watch tv from couch or the bed . The spa bath is so good! Breakfast in the morning was perfect ! Red wine bottle , double shower! Extra blankets on the couch and chocolates . 
Cannot recommend this enough! So worth every cent! 
Management was friendly and quick & easy responses via email. Hassle free!

So perfect!

Highly recommended! We had 5 people stay in the candlewick cottage that has 4 queen rooms + 2 bathrooms, the cottage was very spacious. It has kitchen/dining down stairs and lounge area up stairs. 
The cottage could if accommodated 8 adults easily. 
The gas wood fires created an amazing ambiance & heat on the cool winter's day. 
The supplied breakfast (fresh bread, eggs, bacon, cereal, youghurt, juice, hot drinks) was well stocked & fresh. 

Candlewick cottage 

The moment we walked in we were sold!
Such a lovely cottage and the owners had thought of everything for the duration of the weekend. 
The gardens give you that remote feeling and the quaint feel of the cottage make for a wonderful experience should you wish to escape city life. 

We highly recommend a visit. 

Weekend retreat

Stayed in Windsong Cottage. Great Cottage very clean, great atmosphere. Mood lighting, Spa Bath, Great little kitchen breakfast food supplied eggs bacon tomatoes cereal yogurt . Had our name on the door with a greeting made us feel welcome.  Surroundings where great felt like we where the only ones there. Great place for a couple to get away.

Had a great stay. Lovely tranquil surroundings.

From the second we arrived this was comfort and luxury at its best. 

With chocolates and chilled wine awaiting us,  this private and secluded cottage was totally romantic and luxurious. 

Well appointed breakfast inclusions and everything you could want for a weekend away. 

Little to no mobile or internet reception only really enhances the experience and ensures that there are no distractions and you really can get away from reality. 

We stayed in "Owls Croft" overlooking our own private garden.  It was cold and rainy and foggy,  so we didn't get to use the garden or gazebo,  but it really only made it more cozy, and gave us the perfect setting to sit in front of the fire with a glass of wine!

The birds came and visited each morning and enjoyed their breakfast on the balcony and it really was just the ultimate in a weekend escape from the real world, while at the same time,  being close enough to not have to go far if you want to go out for dinner or a nice walk. 

We will definetly stay here again.
