The location is wonderful - a rainforest paradise. The hosts - Lee and Andrew - friendly, obliging and professional. The breakfast to die for, served outdoors overlooking the pond.
It was our second visit, we specifically planned our trip to spend the night there. Highly recommended.

We had a sublime few days at Sensor with our kindest of hosts, Lee and Andrew! The setting is simply beautiful, within easy reach of the gorgeous coastline and Coffs. From the very first moment of walking into this quiet, serene home, it felt like home. Lee and Andrew were kind and sensitive to our needs and we had the most wonderful conversations around the fireplace in the evenings. The whole experience was rejuvenating and restorative. We cannot rate it highly enough for that special couples getaway.

Lee and Andrew were perfect hosts. Beautiful surroundings and excellent breakfast. We thoroughly relaxed for three days in a very caring environment. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed the personal touch.

WE have just stayed 3 nights with the retreats wonderful hosts Andrew and Lee.  We were fortunate to have the Pool Villa, right alongside their beautiful pool.  Andrew and Lee are the perfect hosts; engaging and interested in their guests.

You are immediately hit with the sense you are in someones home, with beautifully curated lounge dining and waiting room.  The rooms are simply but tastefully styled, and you immediately feel relaxed on entering.

Lee serves a great breakfast. Perfect amount without overdoing it.  The retreat is the prefect size, where wet rarely saw other couples. We came and went as we wanted and popped in and out of Coffs for evening meals.

Without a doubt the most important member of staff is their beautiful dog - Luca!  She greets and 'assesses' you on arrival, giving the nod of approval.
The grounds of the retreat are in 6 acres of beautiful Lilly ponds and rain forest inspired plants.

This is a true hidden oasis away from the bustle of downtown Coffs Harbour, yet only 3 minutes by car to Sapphire Beach, which for the most part is very quiet, but an un patrolled beach!

We will be back next year for a couple of nights, enroute to Brisbane.

It's away from the hustle and bustle of Coffs and no kids,  which was what we were looking for.  The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the property is gorgeously tranquil. They took their covid plan seriously which we liked - made us feel safe. 

Our room was very stylish with our own private balcony area. Breakfast was excellently prepared and delicious - 5 stars for this alone. We had a relaxing time and will be back.

We stayed for one night as a stopover from Byron Bay back to Sydney, the hosts (Lee & Andrew) were very welcoming (as an aside, we are a gay couple and there were no concerns from the hosts, which can sometimes arise at some BnBs). The home, gardens and our room (The Lakeview Suite) were all beautifully presented and very clean. The location is minutes from Coffs Harbour with Uber and Taxis no problem if you want to have dinner in Coffs. Breakfast was two courses and very enjoyable, made even more special by sitting on the outdoor deck overlooking the stunning gardens. We have been fortunate to stay at some of the finest hotels around the world, this little treasure sits comfortably alongside those experiences, we would highly recommend Sensom Luxury B&B!

What a lovely and relaxing experience staying here. Andrew and Lee are great hosts...welcoming and informative. The breakfasts are delicious, rooms clean and comfy and gardens are beautiful. So much to see locally and Andrew gave us some great tips on places to visit, that turned out to be just magical. Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

This is the place to start to get away from it all! A tropical paradise - nestled on a mountain side surrounded by palm trees. We enjoyed the beauty and sounds of nature - frog calls, birds and waking to the gentle rustle of leaves. Lee and Andrew were exceptional hosts - warm, welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious. Their place is beautifully decorated. Worth the stay.

We had a gorgeous stay at Sensom along with friends. The setting is extraordinary - so beautiful and tranquil. The rooms are exquisite and the hospitality from Andrew and Lee was fabulous. Faultless. Our only regret was having to leave!

We stayed here for one night.  Andrew and  Lee were so welcoming and made us feel as though we were visiting friends.  The gardens were incredible with lovely walks around the lakes situated on different levels.  Our room overlooked the pool and gardens.  It was on stilts and had a wonderful view of the lakes.  You can hear the wildlife while sitting on your balcony.  In the evenjng you feel like you are sitting in the middle of the jungle.

Breakfast was excellent and just the right amount.  I would recommend anyone up take a stop here.

Beautiful location

Five stars for a BnB, four in comparison to a luxury hotel, views, etc- I was a bit trepidatious of staying at a BnB as opposed to a hotel.  I shouldn’t have been. Lee and Andrew are consummate hosts, the space is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, especially in the garden setting. Everyone mentions the gardens, but they are astounding, it’s like living in your own private botanic garden. The  room was lovely, very clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. I’m sure they would organise anything needed that wasn’t there already. Doggy cuddles (only if you want them) were the icing on the cake. Thank you both, we’ll be back!

Serene oasis

Despite some minor difficulty locating Sensom (you have to work hard for the good things in life!) a surprise certainly awaited. Perfect for a one night stop over on our journey south, Sensom provided exactly what we needed without any fuss or drama. Beautiful location and gardens with pool awaited - something the owners are very proud of and should be. Room accommodation was certainly adequate with all the amenities required for a one night stay. Breakfast was exactly right and they went above and beyond in responding to our specific dietary requirements. Unique location, unique type of stay (luckily we were the only guests that night!) and very pleasant and hospitable hosting from Andrew and Lee.

Beautiful place 

Understand that the B&B is in transition from one identity to another .  Nothing wrong in that ...just needs to be clear about it for those who want to stay here . 

Very attractive  b&b as it describes itself with 'luxury' added to its new title for good measure .   Again I can go along with that.  Very attractive location with manicured lawns , well maintained pool and surrounding grounds set in an attractive 'valley' location .  Indeed its quite idyllic but for the occasional hint of 'rush hour' such as a large lorry or screaming motorbike coming from the main highway some mile or two down the valley . 

Breakfast very good .  Accommodation pretty good for a B&B and  close to some lovely beaches south and particularly north of Coffs Harbour .  Great national parks close by ...should have hired a 4 x4 though as anything else puts your security deposit at significant risk unmade roads etc ....?

I personally found Coffs Harbour itself a horrid place,  but luckily Sensom or is it Santa Fe  is some miles miles North and hence well out out of it ......

So if your passing and your looking for a 'Stop over'  ,  May I suggest .....here...? which has all the beauty and almost non of the noise,  burgers or traffic that Coffs has in abundance.
