We found out new owners have taken over. They have made great changes to 15 Hesse St. Its now a very comfortable clean contemporary stay in a olde world setting. Very comfortable beds and breakfast items that are sourced locally. Nice to enjoy more then one night. Queenscliff has a lot to offer everyone with shopping,sights,the train beaches great walks. Highly recommend

Great BnB to stay at while in Queenscliff/ Belleraine

We stayed in the self-contained cottage at the Benambra Boutique accommodation and were thrilled with both the cottage and the location. 
We were within walking distance to our lunch catchup and the cottage contained everything required in a great B and B. 
The bed was really comfortable, and we were left plenty of breakfast provisions for a lovely Brunch before heading out to explore beautiful Queenscliff.
Belinda was fantastic, so welcoming and amazing communication both before and after when I had left something behind.
We look forward to our next stay and as Belinda was kind enough to take us through to see the other rooms available, we know we would be happy to stay in any of the Benambra accommodation.
Thank you so much again Belinda for going above and beyond and I am sure we will be seeing you again in the not-too-distant future.

Fabulous Gem in the heart of Queenscliff

We cannot fault this accommodation in any way. A beautiful cottage exterior certainly has street appeal. The  interior has been thoughtfully updated  to provide guests a perfect place to enjoy, with personal details evident in the owners  design elements.  The bed/ bathroom linen is luxurious. A great central location. Huge Thankyou to the hosts too. We will be back to explore soon.

Superb

We stayed in Benambra last week. Its a beautiful 1880s residence being refurbished by new owners so dont take any noticeb of  old reviews. Attention to detail in every aspect. Beautifully decorated rooms, personal addressed arrival letter, hamper in your room full of goodies, fridge with fruit jiuce, sparkling mineral water & yogurt, fluffy towels, great bed with crisp linen & a great host.  Location couldn't be better - right on the main street of Queenscliff but at the quiet end. Close to all tourist destinations such as the ferry to Sorrento. Great eating on the Queenscliff warf. Husband has walking stick & had no problems getting into & around the house. High tech for power, tv etc Loved our getaway. Tatiana Carlton Nth.

Luxury Boutique Accommodation

This accommodation was way overpriced for what you received. There was no fridge in the room and we were carrying food with us and didn’t want to leave it in the communal fridge. Also we normally keep a soft drink with us to have during the night so not able to keep that cold. The bathroom was very small. No hairdryer and the toilet paper was terrible. There is no wi-fi whatsoever not even in the sitting area. We weren’t offered breakfast so not even sure if that was included in the price. Very disappointing.

Way Overpriced for What You Get

Excellent & friendly hosts, perfect location in the main street within minutes walk from several cafes & restaurants and genuine comfort all-round. Only intended to stay 1 night, but didn't want to leave, so a second night had. Thoroughly enjoyable and likely to return.  

A real Gem within lovely Queenscliff

A very sweet bed and breakfast in Queenscliff.  Our hosts were very pleasant and could recommend local restaurants and things to do. In room air conditioning, tv etc. access to refrigerator.  A lovely home cooked breakfast, prepared to order.

Central Queenscliff

We were on a cycle tour along the coast of southern Victoria and staying for one night each in a mix of types of accommodation including this B&B.  The owners were very nice, the accommodation was surprisingly large with at least 8 rooms spread over several levels, most with external access and our room was huge with an efficient ensuite.  Plenty of room to spread our belongings and a lovely, cosy big bed.  Lots of windows and good blinds meant we could enjoy the view outside and still close up to sleep. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice.

A big room and easily accessed

At $300 per night, it would have been nice to wake up refreshed, at least. But it was not to be. With the rock hard bed and pillow, coupled with the noises of other guests using their bathrooms through the night, I contemplated sleeping in the car. 
The pokey ensuite had a toilet, basin and shower. Make sure you get up nice and early to get the hot water, just like the old school camp days.
Other reviews had talked up the breakfast, so you can imagine my disappointment when we were offered a tiny portion of limited cereal options, tinned fruit or a "cooked breakfast" which consisted of a microwaved poached egg, uncooked mushroom, and a single slice of unbuttered Aldi sandwich loaf.
The only good thing going for this place is that it's in a good spot. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

What a disappointment

I expect more for $280 per night. Motel standard for hotel price. Rooms are very small. No fridge. No chair. Single ply toilet paper is too cheap. Bed linen was clean. Bed base wasn't covered. Shower water attacks you.  Parking is limited by time on the street until after hours. location is good. Breakfast was ok but no buffet so constantly having to ask for service. Landlady was defensive and stressed out. She would make a great Matron.
