Amazing Caravan Park set in lovely rural area.We had a deluxe cabin which was lovely.Very tidy areas

I honestly have no issues with this place minus the cell reception and wifi issues. But that was the least of my worries. The place was clean and quiet. Simple, exactly what i needed for two nights in the country. Id stay here again in a heartbeat.

Quite and close to the airport and roe highway. Great price, great parking.

We enjoyed our stay at Banksia. The park has everything you need. The sites are private and spacious. Some would be tight to get onto in a big van, our van is 17ft so no problems. The ablutions are very clean and well maintained. The pool is a great size with plenty of room and one end us under cover so you can have a swim and not be in the sun. Would definitely recommend this park and have booked another stay prior to leaving. There are bus stops right out the front if you use public transport.

Clean, friendly and swimming pool is great

Spent one night at the Banksia Tourist Park and we were well accommodated for. The two bedroom pet friendly cabin was great size for 2 ad 2 ch and a small pet. The cabins do have a couple of steps in them between the lounge/bunk/bathroom and the kitchen/main bed. Communication from the admin was prompt and friendly. Would stay again

When myself and plus one entered our accommodation which was a superior studio cabin, I couldn’t help but wonder if it was a converted shipping container, if this was the case, then who ever did it has done a great job with a well thought out conversion having been done. It has all the necessities required for a pleasant stay. These cabins do sleep 4 with having a sofa bed but I think would be a bit cramped with 4 adults, perhaps 2 small children would be ok. The carport attached is a good idea also. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The only negative is the fact that you can hear the planes taking off first thing of a morning although;seems to be less on weekends, no alarm clock required.

SPLENDID 

We stayed in our caravan in the caravan part of the park with 5 other couples with their caravans so can only comment about our experience within that area.  Check in was friendly and easy.  Caravan sites were big and easy to get into.  Abultion block was spotless.  Best camp kitchen and campers lounge again spotless.  We overlooked the open green space which was pleasant.  Quiet area at night.  We all enjoyed our time there and would recommend for caravaners.

Great caravan park.

The administration staff were so friendly and helpful. Angel was quick to assist with a smile and easy going attitude. The amenities were clean but not well stocked. Toilet paper was not refilled in several cubicles over a few days. There is a bath which is a great bonus. Gardens are lovely, pool crystal clear. Reinforcing is showing through concrete which will start to cause tripping hazards. 
A little pricey for us, but were a tad stuck while car was being fixed.

We stayed here for a few nights prior to leaving Australia with our 2 small dogs. They had a 11pm drop off at the Airport so it was handy. 

We had cabin 58 which had been done up, however it was very dusty and some of the dishes weren’t clean, so I then washed items prior to use. 

There is also no shelving in the kitchen for you to place food, no shelf in the shower box and no hooks in the bathroom. Just a suggestion that adding little things like these add to guest comfort; I rearranged to kitchen draws so I had somewhere to put our food other than stacking it on the bench. 

We did mention to 2 staff members that the draining of all sinks & shower was incredibly slow and the shower temperature very erratic. 

When I rung I asked about the dogs and any additional charges and wasn’t told anything. Then when we got the late arrival pack there was a form in there about a charge, this should have been advised when calling and on the website. 

We also found conflicting information from the website, late arrival info & guest compendium.

The park was clean and tidy. The Laundry facilities were well maintained.
