We’ve always enjoy staying at Sandy Beach Resort in Noosaville. Such a perfect location right on the Noosa River and only a short leisurely stroll to cafes, restaurants, and the shopping strip along Gympie Tce. It’s handy also to the bigger shops at Noosa Village (Woolies, Dan Murphy’s etc), perhaps a 10 minute walk or only a 2 minute drive to grab some groceries. We requested to change apartments mid stay as we weren’t prepared for the volume of noise that came from the masses of Lorikeets and Cockatoos that nest overnight in the trees along the river. It was a spectacle to see, however in our front facing room it did make for disturbed nights, so we asked for a swap. John & Tess couldn’t have been more accomodating with this and gave us keys to two apartments to look at and choose between. Such nice service and understanding hosts. We do recommend earplugs for anyone staying in the front rooms, as the birds start early! Irregardless of that that Sandy Beach is a wonderful place to stay, easy secure parking, top location with welcoming & friendly hosts. Thanks John & Tess.
