Amazing luxury apartment! It had everything you need and more - comfy furniture, heated bathroom floors, free wifi, basement parking, drying cupboards, spa bath, fully equipped kitchen, board games, DVDs, coffee machine and the list goes on. Good location close to bus stop 8. Robyn the host was extremely helpful. We loved staying here and highly recommend it!

Moritz 16, is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment , with 2 undercover car parks. 
Only 100 metres from The General pub and The Big D chairlift, it's perfectly positioned to be at the quieter end of the resort, but only 3 mins back to the main hub of the resort. 
This apartment has everything but guaranteed snow.. 
The host, Robyn , who has a wealth of knowledge about 'things to do at Hotham'makes your ski holiday perfect by adding the little things like dishwashing balls, wardrobes full of coat hangers and a few condiments in the cupboard. There's large boiler pots to make big batches of soup, even sandwich presses. The cupboards stock everything..The views are Devine and the village bus stop in just at end of drive way..
It feels like a real home away from home.. 
I've stayed else where on the mountain, but we always come back to Moritz 16...

Roomy, one bedroom apartment with good kitchen facilities and nice size bathroom. Comfy bed but tiny TV screen.  Fold out sofa bed and extra fold out single bed with mattress so two kids could sleep separately. Apartment is at the back of the building so not the lovely mountain view but had some view between other buildings. Very convenient to walk to Davenport Access to begin the skiing day in the morning but need to catch the bus home again. Bus stop very close. Great undercover parking and locker in carpark for storing ski gear. Laundry in apartment was also the drying room and just enough room to dry ski clothes for four people. Heaters were enough to keep apartment lovely and warm. Only had few tea bags and coffee and sugar and milk and only condiment was salt so bring your own everything. Kids had trouble getting a decent internet connection. Not close to supermarket or restaurants but bus system works quite well. Would definitely stay here again with family of four.

Our family of four stayed in Moritz 8 for three nights in a blizzard. We liked the blizzard and the temperature drop down to minus 6 Celsius, as the 30cm of snow we got was soft, dry and powdery. Then we had bluebird skiing on the last day. But back to Moritz 8. There are two remote keys to the lovely basement parking security shutter, but only one universal key to all external doors, basement ski locker, and the room itself. Yes it makes no sense to me either. If you're part of a family, maybe you'd like to have flexibility of allowing some of them to come and go and explore all the different Hotham ski runs and make themselves lunch in that lovely kitchen. And also permit redundancy in case one keyholder gets waylaid in the blizzard ! What a maudlin thought ...

We were very comfortable in this 1 bedroom unit and loved the valley views, spent hours gazing at those, with all of nature's moods on show, giving us humility back. There was a separate laundry room to dry our gear, but the convection wall heater in there sometimes had to be coaxed into life. The queen bed was very comfortable and the kids got a fold out sofa divan, with the sort of back support you would normally expect from a fold out sofa divan. Though the kids were so worn out every day after a day's skiing none of this mattered.

The two tall sliding doors opened out onto a long balcony over the views. The sliding door latch had broken off somehow and the doors themselves had additional sliding bolts to keep them secure. While at first disappointed by not being able to get out and sniff mountain air, we then twigged after spotting foot-high snow on the balcony against the double glazed doors, and the howling blizzard. Icicles hung precariously from the balcony above like dreads, ready to impale the unwary traveller. So we reconciled ourselves to not letting in the outside environment, being unable to latch the doors back up once forced open, and having to make Snowmen on the living room floor of Moritz 8.

We usually appreciate a kitchenette when travelling with children for convenience and making all their favourites. And this kitchen had a double sink, gas stove, jug, toaster and sandwich press and lots of kitchen utensils to make a fine snowed in meal for a family. When able, the General Store just two bus stops away at the Big D chairlift provided all our refill needs. We thought them a bit expensive, but what the hey We're on holiday aren't We ? I can forget the cost of convenience when a 390ml Coke sets me back $5.00. But I won't forget the care and courteous chat we got from all the resort people, reception folk, car park attendants, drivers, waitstaff, bar staff, and the humble lifties, everywhere we went while on Hotham.

These apartments are relatively new and have been well kitted out. Our apartment had a washing machine and dishwasher as well as an en suite bathroom. The view at the front seemed to be one of the best on the mountainand at the back there was a safe play area for the kids. We also appreciated the undercover carpark.

Stayed here for family weekend skiing in apartment 8. One bedroom with large sofa bed in living room. Kitchen appliances all there. Balcony with amazing view of mountains . Out back snow area with place for kids to make snowmen and slide down a small hill. Bus stop outside with frequent buses to Central.
