Luxe Spa on Kensington

I purchased a 2 hour couples' Groupon voucher for my partner's birthday, as well as booked a room for the night. After my bookings, I saw some recent terrible reviews on TripAdvisor and became anxious that the birthday surprise would be terrible. I had no need to worry! The only struggle I had was getting in touch with the ladies who run the place, which I took to be due to the number of vouchers sold and the Christmas period. We were warmly greeted on arrival by friendly staff, our bags were carried up to our room while we checked in, and bubbles and nibbles were brought up to the room while we got ready for our treatments. We came back down and were led to the private cabin spa which was absolutely beautiful. We had bubbles and water waiting for us, the water was at perfect temperature, and wonderfully romantic with a little fake fire and battery-operated candles around the room. Next, a young lady led us to the massage room where we had the rest of the treatments from our voucher. The two ladies who did our treatments were great; friendly and professional. Afterward, we went back to our room to get ready for dinner. The hotel is in a great location to walk to restaurants and we felt very safe walking around at night. The next morning, we were able to have breakfast straight away as it was set up in the kitchen. We filled up on cereal, yoghurt, toast, fruit and herbal tea before checking out. We would definitely recommend the place and stay here again.
