View from the room was incredible, pool area was lovely.  Restaurant food was very good, loved the Neptune Chicken 😋

Rooms are dated but the view makes up for it.

Room had a stunning view of the ocean, the room had good space but had an unpleasant smell, though was reasonably clean. Friendly staff with good service and very accommodating. Overall i really enjoyed my 2 nights stay and i would definitely stay again.

I had a balcony room overlooking the water, truly beautiful location. The room was good, fairly well maintained, clean and a pleasant place to be, especially for the rate.

My partner and I stayed in a newly renovated room, which was gorgeous, and very comfortable. Our view was probably the least exciting, but that wasn't very important to us. We had several family members in other rooms, however, with gorgeous views right out onto the beachfront.

We loved the quiet and serenity of our stay so much so that we are going back!

A beautiful, serene property and location with awesome helpful management. A absolute pleasure staying here.

Excellent ocean front property, lovely rooms.    The only drawback was lack of facility to obtain food or drink.   The bar was closed.      The signage at the front access entrance is deceiving as the actual “Dolphin Sands’ name is not advertised, it is signposted as a different name altogether.  Apparently this is currently being rectified.   Will definitely stay again.   Amazing location.

Amazing staff, location and food!!!The room was a bit of a let down; The bathroom in particular wasnt very clean and very dated. The kids bunk was pretty worn and rough, Also the aircon/heater didnt turn on (LED just flashed). Would happily stay again but the bathroom in particular could use some more attention when being cleaned and I hope some renovations/updates are in the cards soon.Also special mention to the staff, They were amazing, Very friendly and helpful!

We enjoyed our short stay at Dolphin Heads Resort. The pool was amazing, the restaurant menu was extensive, food was delicious, the grounds were nice and everything within the resort is close by. Yes, the rooms are aging but we knew this before arrival. The room still had everything we needed and was clean. The beach infront of DH is all rocks but Eimeo Beach was just a few mins drive away and was stunning. It had a coffee/food van every week day, lifeguards, toilet facilities, shady areas and a park. If I am to make a suggestion to Dolphin Heads, it would be to add some more seats around the pool.

Liked! Views are Amazing, pool is Beautiful, but could have alot mor seating or sunbeds! Rooms are comfortable!Dislikes! No Breakfast, poor management or not enough staff at restaurant/ bar, server mould smell entering my room & bathroom vent was overloaded with dust so ventilation fan didn't work! Cheap appliances, need more activities, shops walking distance!

Love the pool facilities, quiet. Little bit of a cruise ship feeling with the bar and restuarant near the pool. Rooms were not well maintained. The main light wasn’t working, soaps and shampoos not filled or not working. Absolutely no room service, not even fresh towels. Guess I shouldn’t complain considering the price.

View was spectacular and couldn’t fault. Although our room was quiet dusty/dirty we couldn’t use aircon as it was quiet dusty and blocked from dust. There was hair in shower from previews guest and the bunk beds squeaked so much the kids had to be moved to the floor on the mattress. Other then that it was a nice stay. Great staff

We had a great time staying at Dolphin Heads and largely the staff were lovely and friendly until the final morning of our stay when we attempted to get breakfast as it was Mother’s Day they were fully booked so we asked if we could get breakfast to take back to our rooms and we’re also told no and when asked what our breakfast option was as resort guests was told ‘go to McDonalds’ this was by the Manager of the restaurant.  We were staying at the resort for a wedding and no one had a car having come from interstate and staying at the resort so we didn’t need one.  On discussing with the resort manager she was so lovely and arranged a table for us with the restaurant.  The rest of our time had been so great this was just unfortunate that the restaurant manager and the male staff member managing the bookings had limited people skills or problem solving skills.

Beautiful ocean views and helpful staff. Difficult to get to accommodation from carpark, had to walk through resort in rain and mud to room, which was difficult to find. The room I booked through expedia was not the room I was given luckily there was a vacant room that met my requirements that I was moved to.

Great outlook over ocean. Pools beautiful and clean. Overall condition of property is tired and restaurant average.
