This was a very pleasant although brief stay , one night .  A warm welcome from  friendly hosts .
Loved the interiors   perhaps a little mischievous or ostentatious for some . Our room was large and comfortable with a view over the square and a sea  view from the bed which was nice. It’s a great hotel and great location near the coast in an historical square with that Margate (faded ) grandeur of yesteryear being resurrected 
I do think a good cooked  breakfast however limited  or continental buffet would be a good addition, in order to make itself competitive .
I liked the individuality of the place and the non corporate feel.Given  its location on the wilder side of town a restaurant with at least a lunch menu or weekend menu would be a good thing.

Great addition to the Margate hotel landscape 

This was our first experience in a B and B. We stayed overnight as we wanted to experience accommodation other than a hotel. It was wonderful, our room was beautiful and we had a separate entrance, we also had our own ensuite and small deck off our room. The property has a lovely garden with private areas to sit in. Our breakfast was beautifully served and Thankyou to Bonnie for such a wonderful stay. 

Absolute treasure 

Room was lovely and had all we needed.  1 minute walk to waterfront. 15 min. walk to shops and eating places. A couple of eating places only 2 min. walk.   Ceiling fan, A/C, ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, good toiletries, wardrobe, hair dryer, USB sockets for charging mobile devices, DVD facilities, access to garden to enjoy relaxing outside. Would stay here again and will recommend on social media.

Hostess was lovely and ensured that our 3 night stay was delightful.  Close to water, shops and eating.

I loved how we were a stones throw from the ocean, where we were able to walk along the beach. 
The host Bonnie was lovely & was quick to respond to emails & always ready to help. 
We were close to restaurants & it was a lovely little get away. 

Cute Botique

Bonny our host was lovely and looked after our family for our overnight stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and the ensuite for each room is beautiful. The gazebo in the back yard is perfect for happy hour. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with fresh fruit, juice, cereal, bread to make toast and of course tea and coffee. This was more than I expected and Bonny was there smiling and chatting.

It is all about friendly personal service at this lovely and cosy B&B in Margate . Bonny the owner is very  hands on , meeting and greeting guests , seeing to their every need. The rooms are well decorated , the beds comfortable , the bathrooms spacious and functional. There is a private entrance to every room from the outside so access is easy , you can come and go any time you please. The continental breakfast is included and set up to help yourself in a common , lounge/ dining area in the morning. Bonny is a very welcoming lady , her passion shines through ,she is a lovely hostess. If you like the B&B experience and want to stay in superior places this is up there , nothing disappointed in our experience . I heartfully recommend this little B&B for a comfortable experience.

We had a wonderful time touring north of Brisbane and Margate House B&B was the perfect place to stay. Our host was friendly, helpful, and put lovely touches into the room and common areas. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great stay north of Brisbane

I stayed overnight at this very elegant and stylish B and B.  The bed was comfortable and the amenities spotless.  The continental breakfast was perfect.  There are leafy surrounds and ts a short walk to the beachfront.  The  proprietress was very helpful and friendly.

Very happy to have found this little gem. Absolutely lovely in every way, from the room to the breakfast and Bonny's amazing hospitality. She went above and beyond to make this a very pleasant stay. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Bonny!

A little gem

This B&B ticks all the boxes and then some. Thanks to owner Bonny who has successfully managed to think of every kind of comfort and facility her guests might need, Margate House offers the complete package. Well located close to Margate beach and a stone's throw from an excellent fish and chip cafe, all guests enjoy their own private entry, on-site parking and all the niceties you might find in an upmarket hotel but delivered by the owner in person.
