well the beds are blissful - like sleeping on a cloud 
i had stayed at mollisons many years ago and it was just as good this time.
i had a small cosy room as i was on my own and it was warm and inviting as the weekend was freezing 
lots to see in kyneton and area around 
i would highly recommend this accommodation.

Benita and Yvonne greeted us warmly and we were showed to our room which was a double.Although my cousin and I shared the bed it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time and there was plenty of room for both of us.The bathroom room was spacious.Plunger coffee and tea were provided.Everything was spotless.I loved the sherry decanter and crystal glasses.I had a little taste before going out to dinner!Shirley left her phone charger behind.Deb said she would happily post it to her.I have stayed at Mollinsons before and I am always impressed.It is in a perfect position in town.Walking distance to pubs,clubs,shops and restaurants.

Beautiful rooms in a gorgeous old "heritage" bank building on the main street of Kyneton. Super-comfy bed & good-sized bathroom. We checked out the 2-bedroom apartment while we were there; it would be ideal for a family trip or two couples. All the decor is really attractive and the location perfect. Easy private parking lot at the back of the building. On the ground floor there's a homewares store with loads of nice stuff. Kyneton is full of cool restaurants, shops and galleries and the countryside nearby has dozens of wineries.

Visiting Kyneton at short notice. Called to make a booking. The lady couldn't have been more helpful, organised our room, and given  we were going to be arriving, after hours, organised the key for us, then made a booking for us at a local restaurant.

Beautiful & charming accommodation. As a family we celebrated what would have been our dad's 100th birthday We stayed in the lovely two bedroom suite plus the downstairs single rooms. The upstairs suite with lounge & verandah areas was perfect to gather & reminisce. Hope to return in the future. Hotel has its own lovely gift shop downstairs.

Nothing could be faulted from check-in to check-out. Our room, although small was perfect for an overnight stay. (Apparently, the larger rooms have a minimum two night stay which is fair enough). Furnishings and amenities were perfectly presented and suited to the building which has been meticulously renovated. Congrats to all involved...we will be back for a longer stay for sure.

We stayed for two nights recently and were a little disappointed at what the one bedroom "Boutique" downstairs apartment actually was compared from the description. 

First the Pros: 
Great location with direct access to the main street via the hallway for most rooms, Quiet and clean with an excellent King sized very comfortable bed. On-site parking. Small complementary sherry decanter enough for a couple of nice drinks. The Kyneton pub is virtually next door and serves excellent food and has a decent range of beers and wines.

Now the cons: 
No Wi-Fi, this is 2024 and Wi-Fi is normally provided free all over the world in all types of accommodation. Kitchen/lounge was very small, couch was uncomfortable and the coffee table was ridiculous 150mm off the floor making it useless. The bathroom was a joke, "Two identical handbasins, no heating, huge floor area and pathetic hand hold shower wall mounted. The bathroom needs wall heater similar to the units in the lounge and bedroom to heat this huge area. The shower needs to have something like  rain shower head and ideally replace the whole shower unit with a bath or spa which is what you would normally expect from a Boutique apartment.

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. Lovely garden with small tables and chairs under shady trees where you could enjoy a glass of wine before dinner (BYO but bottle shop nearby)  Right in the middle of town too. Helpful staff with lots of restaurant suggestions.

We only stayed one night and had a beautifully appointed front room. The decor is superb, the bathroom huge and modern, the bed incredibly comfortable but the only reason for not giving 5 stars was the street noise. Apparently the windows are single glaze windows, which is not their fault, but does detract from the ambience. Position wise it is terrific. I would suggest maybe a carpet runner on the stairs to soften the noise from the other guests. Overall, just a lovely heritage building

Good location in Kyneton.  This is a converted bank building originally built in 1902, I believe. Kyneton is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because it is a tourist town so the pubs and a pizza joint seem to be the only open places to eat.  The room was large and generally comfortable but there is NO WIFI.  The bed was super soft and not good for a bad back.  There was no air conditioning in the unusually hot summer the Victoria faced which was a problem not generally faced in country Victoria for as a long a spell as was experienced in 2018-19.
