Staff were happy to let me check in early.

Clean  nice staff and free parking.Very close to the main road would be a disadvantage due to the traffic.

I had a great nights sleep as the bed was really comfy. I was due to check out the next day but got sick so the staff arranged for me to stay another night with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. I'll be staying here for sure next time I'm in Kyabram.

Property within walking distance to town centre and nice and quiet location.

Easy check in. Room Clean and warm, ample parking and premises all kept clean.  thanks

Had memories of staying at Kyabram Motor Inn almost 30yrs ago and found some changes had obviously taken place!  Although not as modern as some, I found the room to be tidy & comfortable.  Basics ticked, it wasn't until I was settling for the night when I came to lie on the bed - OMG, this would have to be THE BEST bed I have ever slept in. EVER!  I only wish I had pulled back the sheets to find out what make it was. Duh!

The BEST BED EVER!

I find it hard to believe that some recent reviews only weeks before our visit (Dec 2021) have such negative comments such as 'disrepair'.

In contrast, the initial impression on arrival was that the exterior of the motel appeared neat and tidy, and the pool was clean and inviting.

Our room was the exact same one as in the featured photo (the only one left in the area over the busy Xmas/New Year break), and had a huge and very comfortable king size bed.

Facilities were clean and up to scratch. A large rotating bedside power adapter with USB and international power sockets takes care of all your charging needs.

Some items such as plates/bowls weren't provided by default but a sign advised that they were available on request from reception.

Some difficulties were experienced at the booking stage, with direct communication difficult to understand and in making myself understood. I rang on a landline and the owner offered to text me back, obviously not knowing the difference between landline and mobile numbers. I had to spell out my email address twice over two separate phone calls! An email eventually arrived in the name of "ABN 25 164 631 136" not "Kyabram Motor Inn"; I almost thought it was spam.

A very pleasant stay, would recommend

This motel we have stayed before that’s why we went back, new owners I think and still clean tidy room. The king bed was terrible it needs replacing, and they probably will once everyone gets back on their feet after COVID. No disposable soaps etc for shower just big bottles to share from previous guests and one on the floor of the shower (poor idea)Other rooms might be different, but for $135 I would try again

Give Ky a try

Easy check in, very friendly family owned business. Unfortunately the apartment we requested was unavailable due to long term guests still in residence. Bed and pillows very comfy, although bedrooms quite small. No bedside tables which was a nuisance, but the owners assured us that would be rectified. Not much bench space in kitchen for 4 people. Be aware that the apartments are separate from the motel and the free wifi didn't reach there. They are in a side street off the main road but traffic noise wasn't an issue. BBQ and pool are around the corner at the motel complex. Bit of a walk into Kyabram but no hassles with parking when driving in.

Nice apartment

Very tastefully and thoughtfully renovated motel. Double glazed windows, good lighting, comfy bed, recliner chair!, quality shampoo not in little plastic bottles!, milk for breakfast, international plugs and USB ports for phone charging, all facilities in room and available, friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Great place to stay. Thanks. 

Top quality motel

My husband and I decided last minute to enter a sporting event held in Shepparton. As we decided quite late to attend, all accommodation in Shepparton was booked out. We found Ky Country Motor Inn and for 4 nights found it didn’t break out budget. Approximately 30 minutes from the event we didn’t mind the travel and arrived after 6pm. Having a late check in suites us. The lady at the reception was a pleasure to deal with. She instantly made me feel welcome and greeted me with a smile. Our room was cosy, but neat, tidy and very cute. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone passing through or needing multiple nights accommodation. There’s many restaurants, petrol station, Woolworths etc in close proximity. 

Last minute motel 

I have never slept on such a comfortable bed. It was amazing. I just didn't want to get out. The lady at reception was friendly and 2 of the most adorable dogs. The room was well set out and comfortable.
The only thing I didn't like were large pump bottles for shampoo and conditioner. 
Would definately revisit... and sleep in. 



Amazing bed

Pleasantly clean for an older style build. Just needs a bit of airing to remove stale air

All good. Just watch out for the ramp outside the entrance. I hit it with my rear tyre when leaving (flat tyre with damaged side wall!!)
