Quick stop, overnight. Arrived at 2230 and staff were still there waiting. Easy, convenient check in. Friendly staff.

Wonderful friendly service! Neat and clean family room. Complimentary tea, coffee and breakfast. Made our trip easy & stress free!!

This place is an old school pub offered at a great price and so the condition was as expected. The staff were all great and the food downstairs was excellent. Overall, it's a great value place to stay while on the road.

We had a big party attend. The food was amazing and good value. Samie was especially helpful and made our night even more special than it already was. Pepper sauce was to die for. thank you Samie! The rooms were basic, but good value for money. The water pressure and heat of hot water was a pleasant surprise after expectations were set low. Don't look too closely at the carpet... I've stayed at lots of NSW country pubs. I'd come back to this one. On balance, its a four star rating from me. Probably only three stars if Samie wasn't working her magic.

I gave it four stars because I was looking for the charm of this sort of place. But the accommodation won’t be to everyone’s taste.

A large group of family/friends recently ate dinner at the Culcairn hotel dining room and we all enjoyed our meals, they were cooked well and as ordered and the Chef did a great job on his own getting the food out to everyone dining in the room without diners having to wait for ages.  He was also very accommodating with dietary requirements making it easy for every member in our group to enjoy a meal without any fuss and confusion which can often be the case in country pubs.  
The service in the dining room on the night was friendly and efficient.

Stayed in a comfortable double room with shared facilities. Very peaceful as off the main highway. No noise from the train line opposite. Very friendly staff and great meals in the restaurant. The bakery at the corner is great for breakfast, and is very busy. Recommend for an overnight stay.

No problems with check in.  Room lacked power points and there was no switch close to the bed.Carpets were old and a bit dirty.The light breakfast was good.

Classic country pub room

GOOD DINING ROOM

Excellent food and great value

Great older style hotel

Pub was nice, the room was very average but the bed was warm and comfy. no coffee or tea facilities which I've never heard of before and we have travelled and stayed in a lot of place,told It was not supplied unless we got up later and bought at the bar. the meal was very good value. The lady at the bar needs to get a different job, uninterested, abrupt and very unwelcoming, was more interested in talking to a bloke about how she owned the pool table in the upstairs lounge, usually were the kitchen, coffee facilities are kept for paying guests?
