Booked one night here, comfortable beds, very clean, shared bathroom very clean also.  Quaint old hotel has been refurbished.  Basic breakfast was included in price, a pleasant surprise.  Big lounge room to share but couldn't get all stations on the TV.  Had tea here which was really good and great value.   Staff friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel with Very Friendly owners, the Hotel has been fully renovated and has lovely decor, delicious food, lovely open fires to sit by, if you want to stay they have Accommodation upstairs and all the rooms have been renovated.
If you are staying or just visiting this area I highly recommend the Light Horse Hotel.

Great atmosphere, parmi was excellent, Seb and Rooster from behind the bar were fantastic and the place itself is really warm and homely. Will definitely stop in again next time I’m passing through town

Popped in with my partner for a quick lunch and this place was a delight. The vibe was laid back, slightly funky but unpretentious, the service friendly and the food delicious. My linguini with prawns was outstanding and I'll be back to have it again.

Friendly country service, delicious food and the beers are cold. Thank you, Karen and team, for your amazing hospitality.  The Hotel is in a great location, easy parking with a great atmosphere.
Enjoy a cold one on the balcony and watch the world go by or enjoy the friendly company inside at the bar or in front of the fire. Looks like a great place to book a function, and whom ever is cooking out the back almost deserves a Michelin Star. 
I will certainly be making this hotel a must stop during my travels and even bring the wife for a treat.

This is a favourite for us when we are in Harden, recently renovated it’s fresh, welcoming with a great atmosphere. The Owners and staff are just fabulous and the food is just the best. The fire is a hit on cold nights and we always end up staying longer! We will be back!

Had lunch at the Light Horse in Murrumburrah on a Sunday. Just lovely, the pub has been revamped with lots a eating places/rooms with comfy lounges, tables and chairs, stools, outdoor cane seating areas etc. open fires in many rooms, freshly decorated. We were greeted warmly, the order taken promptly and delivered with a smile. The well presented meals were yummy, we had salmon and veggies and lamb shanks. I was delighted with this hotel. Many thanks for your hospitality, highly recommended.

cold beer, warm showers, great hosts.  That's pretty much what a good country pub should be.  Renovations were tasteful and in keeping with the character of the building.
I'd recommend the pub for a meal, a beer and a good night's stay.

My wife, two young daughters and I had the most amazing weekend in Harden recently with the vast majority of our time spent at the Lighthorse catching up with friends. The atmosphere of that place is great, with beautiful fixtures, timber bar and plenty of open fire places scattered around. It really was a great place for the weekend.

The hospitality shown by the bar and restaurant staff was second to none, and don't get me started on the meals.  Don't miss the Pumpkin Ravioli, or the best pub cutlets you'll get. And you can wash it all down with some delicious local wine from the region.

Thanks very much for having us, we will definitely be back and can't wait.

Pop in for lunch and a cold beverage. Best Steak Sandwich, and the chips are to die for.

What a great Pub for a weekend catchup

We recently spent a weekend in Harden catching up with friends and our group all had the pleasure of staying at the Light Horse Hotel as well as eating in the restaurant both nights. Its under new ownership and has undergone a great renovation of the bar area as well as the accommodation upstairs. There was a big group of us and we were all super impressed. Friendly staff, beautiful fresh and tasty meals and a lovely welcoming environment. A couple of open fires to enjoy and a great selection of beer and wines. We stayed upstairs and were also very happy with the accommodation. The rooms have all had a makeover and look nothing like the pictures currently on Trip Advisor. Beds were extremely comfortable with lovely new linen and the bathrooms were brand spanking new. I believe they have plans for further improvements. We will certainly be back and will also be recommending to friends and family who might be passing through.

Great country pub - very classy renovations

Heritage hotel in the process of renovation (renovations don't impact guests). Travelled with a group of twelve riders. Basic comfortable accommodation with shared facilities and excellent country pub dining. Comfortable outside areas for just chilling with a cold beer. Thanks to the lovely hostess Karen for her welcoming manner and the early cooked breakfast.

Country hospitality at its best

Dropped in on a Friday night for a meal when passing through town on a road trip. Didn't stay at the pub as were just passing through. The review is of the bistro only. 
The service in the bistro was excellent. The night was cold and we were able to sit close to the fire to keep warm. The meals were well prepared and well cooked pub food. The meals were good sized and no one had any complaints either about the amount or quality of the food.
