This is by far the most picturesque park that we’ve stayed at.
Very disappointed that we had to leave early due to family reasons, however the staff were very understanding and helpful.
The bottom area of the park is surrounded by beautiful scenery,great sites, some a bit small, and wildlife everywhere even though the cockatoo’s are a bit of a menace. 
Can’t wait to return.

Exceptional Caravan Park, friendly helpful staff.

A good caravan park but was expensive over the weekend. The amenities were very good and plenty of hot water. Our site was on a bit of a slope but not too bad. The park is in a great spot to explore the Grampians from and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

What a thought out set up. We loved this park. Easy to drive around, and set up. Camp kitchen and TV room is fantastic and so clean, the whole park is. 
2 pools (1 for seniors) playground for kids. 
Large grassed area to the side. 
When we stayed you just felt relaxed. 
We ordered fire bucket and wood which they deliver right to your site. 
You can book town activities at the reception (get in early though, activities my kids wanted to do were booked out for weeks)
Park is on a sight decline, so if you are at the top of the park, pack some more chocks. 
Dump point is right out there, one site is right next to it, but could not get our van around to it, due to the weird spot for this site; so bit of a walk. But this was the only complaint. Will stay again. 

Our favourite 

We booked a 3 night stay for a powered site and it has been amazing. We are surrounded by wildlife (kangaroos, birds, emus & tawny frogmouths), and you can see the beautiful mountains from the camp site. The staff are very friendly and there is hot coffee available to buy every morning 8-11am. It is close to the town centre and to most attractions/sights. You can also pay a low price to have a fire drum and fire wood ready to go when you get there as well. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the Grampians as a nature/wildlife lover.

Amazing place to stay to experience the Grampians

Cannot emphasise enough just how great value for money this place is. Went with some friends for a weekend - the checkin was seemless, they had treasure hunt activities for the kids on top of the swimming pool and play areas. The kangaroos coming by in the morning and evening were also a hit with the little ones. It's in a great location near the local town and the rooms were sufficiently equipped. Would definitely return.

the perfect vacation spot

Best caravan park ever. So clean lovely cabin and awesome warm pools to swim! Kangaroos and emus and cockatoos hang around. Nice and relaxing. Kids loved the playground and trampolines. Would love to go back one day.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in our caravan.  A lot of work has gone into keeping up the maintenance of this park it is lovely.  The amenities were cleaned three times a day and always spotless. The pools were lovely and a lovely way to relax after a day of hiking.  A lot of effort has gone into keeping dust to a minimum, they have laid gravel on all the roads and it seems to work very well.  We stayed at the bottom of the park near the creek and were on a flat site but the further up to the front of the park the sites were more on a slope so that is something to keep in mind.  Loved seeing all the wildlife, emus and kangaroos everywhere and of course the pesky cockatoos.  All in all we had a brilliant time and will certainly be back.

Excellent Park

Just had a couple of days at the park - it was wonderful. The setting is sublime and our cabin had the most wonderful views over the reserve with kangaroos, emus, deer, kookaburras and cockatoos surrounding us and a backdrop of the Grampian Mountains. The cabin was a great size, very clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly be back

Wonderful park with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The amenities and camp kitchen were great and always very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you!

Beautiful Park

We camped 3 nights at Lake Side Tourist Park and loved every minute of our stay. The receptionists, facilities and grounds were all outstanding. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others. You won't be disappointed - just kick back and enjoy the kangaroos, emus, deer, ducks, cockatoos and spectacular bird life while sitting by your fire. Camping doesn't get much better
