Very comfortable and convenient stop over on our way south would definitely stay again

Easy to get to and very clean and no noise

Very clean and tidy. Short walk to city. One of the best showers!!

Nice and close to the local pool, the room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5!

Self check-in with a code texted to you before you arrive. Never done that before, thankfully there were no problems.Gundagai is a nice country town.

Easy parking for the truck.Did not dislike anything.

This place is fantastic as a stop through on a long drive, great tech linked with you locator you,  get a code to get in so it doesn't matter what time you get in to rest.

An absolute pleasure from check in to check out.
The nicest room I have stayed in in a very long time. 
The room was spotlessly  clean, the beds were very comfortable, The water pressure in the shower great and the hot water was Instant.
I have found my new overnight stay place for the family when traveling  from Melbourne to Sydney

An absolute pleasure of a stay.

We don't expect much from a motel when there's 4 of you crammed in a room, but this was excellent.

A no-touch check-in and check-out made it easy as we arrived late and left early. The kids room was a good size, the bathrooms renovated with good towels and toiletries.
The heater warmed the rooms quickly, but in the colder months I could see the need for a heater in the back room. 
I'd have appreciated some extra water glasses, some wine glasses and a corkscrew. 

Perfect overnight travel stop

We seem to find ourselves doing the Sydney to Melbourne run and vice versa regularly over the last few years.  Often we try to get out of Sydney the night before, but have struggled to find somewhere decent and convenient enough to spend a night between Yass and Gundagi - no longer!

Gundagai Motel was exactly what you want in a place to stay to break up your trip with the family.  Plenty of room, very close to the highway, still quiet (we slept through everyone else leaving the next day), and even though we ended up getting in VERY late (11pm) the staff helped us get in and even made sure the heater was on in advance. 100% recommend.

A comfortable stop-over

The Gundagai Motel is well located, clean with a comfortable bed and good solid bathroom & shower. Parking is conveniently directly outside the room. The motel is a very short walk to the main street, pubs, RSL club and cafes. The motel was value for money and would be my first choice accommodation if I ever return to Gundagai

Great Location, Clean & Comfortable

Great stay at this motel...beautifully clean and comfortable, even shower screen sparkled. I’m impressed.. price reasonable and affordable  at $115 per night...decor modern and easy on the eye...much better than motel I stayed at in Mittagong for $180 per night...their shower screen was very questionable...I’d stay here anytime...

Small but very clean

The room was comfortable. A coffee was sent by SMS to open the door. No reception. No people. But the system works fine.

Clean and comfortable room for a one night stay. Bathroom and room were spotless. Basic necessities provided like microwave, fridge etc. easy access with code being sent to you. No need for checking with staff.

Very spacious and clean. We didnt have our code so we called their phone number and was answered by a lovely person who helped us immediately.
