Stayed here on way to Melbourne. New management were excellent and Very helpful. Stayed here once before and the new management  have made a difference already. Will definately stay here on the way back with the family. Great rates.

Stayed here for two nights. Have stayed in other motels around the same price in other small country NSW towns that were nowhere near as clean and cosy as this one. Two young owners were friendly, and apart from the trucks pulling into the servo next door it was very quiet. Best part - there was a microwave in the room! Would stay again :)

Stayed here for the second time...newly refurbished room which was very comfortable...our pet was welcome.  The host put the heater and a light on for us which was a nice thought.  The room was warm...the bed very comfortable and the shower hot....the price was great.  A nice meal from the truck stop next door...did not see any live mice despite the current mouse plague....this place is a nice surprise and will definitely stay here again!!!

If you are in need of a pet friendly motel you sometimes have to put up with a lot. I booked this place due to location and being able to have my pet.

It’s located next to a petrol station on the southern side of town. It looks like a collection of huts some stand alone and others with 2 units.

My best guess is that the place was built in the 1950s however there has been improvements/ modernisation going on recently. 

The room was functional without being amazing. The bed was very comfortable with a reasonable about of room. Shower had good pressure and was hot.

The tv worked but was small and remote worked and sometimes didn’t work. There was a small Kitchenette with plates cutlery and a microwave which I used to heat my dinner. Useful.

This motel met my basic needs for a nights sleep on my long road journey. I would stay again if I had my pet with me.

An old cabin style motel, the Village is being renewed progressively (slowly, it seems).
The noise of refrigeration units from the truck stop next door spoils amenity for many rooms.
And good bed, but at motel prices more than one teaspoon is expected... Toaster but no plates. No bowls. Not up to a good basic standard. 

Pleasant fail

Wanted to write a kind review of this place but after seeing the managers replies to other reviews I have changed my mind. Stayed here with family recently and this place is not what is advertised, the restaurant was not open and looked like it had been that way for a while, no plates or cutlery in room (why bother having a toaster or microwave??) The cup and glass supplied were dirty, the room and linen smelt musty. Pool area was locked all day, no one in office as manager also works at the truckstop next door.Unprofessional really,  if you cant run a place properly, sell it. What a joke

Good if nothing else is available

An extra $25 for a disabled room!!!! That's a rip off. We were told it's because the room is bigger???? Go figure that one. We passed several top motels just down the road at a much cheaper rate but unfortunately we had booked here. We settled for a standard room as we only wanted a bed and a shower. Didn't shower because the shower door was filthy and it smelt. Note to cleaner, toilet brush holder dirty, curtains dirty, carpet filthy. 2 adults but only one chair?? No extra pillow or blanket. DONT BOTHER BOOKING.....How did they get a four star rating????? It's old and smelly.
